WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the Lead, Sport Business Integration you are part of the GC Jordan Business Integration team which leads one integrated operations offense to drive Nike & Jordan’s end-to-end seasonal CODE process and executes the Sport Led operating model with clarity, speed & confidence to win in our Sport Offense.

In this position you will play an important role in supporting the Jordan’s Sport Leadership Team across Streetwear & Sports to drive and enable a diverse and collaborative working culture, driving cross-functional excellence across a variety of functions (merchandising, marketing, marketplace & planning) and delivering efficient business operations and processes that drive the Sport Led business forward.

  • Cross-functional operational excellence: proven experience in driving operational excellence across end-to-end business functions optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency and delivering measurable impact across operational domains
  • Cross-functional partnership & CODE: ability to establish strong cross-functional partnerships to build an integrated operations offense with Nike & Jordan CODE as the operational spine
  • Innovation mindset: you are a problem solver who approaches the day-to-day work with an improvement and innovation mind set, challenging the status qua and building processes and tools for the future

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

In this role you will drive the integrated cross functional Sport squad offense to deliver operational & process excellence to run, improve & elevate the Sport Business grounded in CODE and the operational rhythm of the Game.

You will enable the Sport squad to move with confidence & speed and operationalize the Sport Led offense, by

  • Setting the Sport squad up for success through partnering closely with the Sport GM and Leadership Team on ways of working & principles to drive clear accountability and cross functional clarity and evolve ways of working season over season
  • Designing & iterating the Sport squad operating model of key meetings, cadence and dependencies on wider Sport Led offense rhythm of the game
  • Owning the Sport seasonal meetings and timelines (e.g. Sport IBA/IBE, CODE moments / gates / deadlines preparation and orchestration) and Geo / Global integration into Sport & CODE timelines
  • Enabling the business to unlock efficiencies through a repeatable integrated (seasonal) operations offense supported by tools & processes across CODE, strategy, monthly / business seasonal review & financial calendars
  • Support in business execution & seasonal readiness through embedding and tracking CSR / Sport targets in seasonal cadence and delivering key processes & insights (e.g franchise mgmt. & key looks / launches)
  • Partner with the CODE operations team to drive process clarity, collaboration & accountability across key CODE moments through a Sport Led lens
  • Actively participate in the Sport Business Integration community across Geo / Global to ensure alignment and consistent evolution of execution of Sport Led vision
  • Drive innovation by creating & implementing best practices and delivering elevated Sport Business Integration projects / artifacts

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Lead, Sport Business Integration is part of the GC Business Integration team and partners closely with the Sport GM and their leadership. You’ll report to the Director Jordan Business Integration GC. You partner closely with the CODE Operations team who complete the GC Business Integration team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
  • 5+ years professional experience leading transformational programs across multiple functions and/or business units
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment
  • Strong understanding of product/retail value chain from innovation to consumer
  • Strategic communicator mining for clarity and alignment
  • Exceptional facilitation skills, including ability to gather relevant data, actively listen, and negotiate forward progress
  • Excellent collaborator and ability to influence cross functionally
  • Project management skills leveraging tools to manage process and workflow
  • Strong executive management skills
  • Strong Keynote skills
