We seek top talent to join the Program Team for Nike’s first UK omnichannel Distribution Centre (DC) planned to launch in 2028. 

As a Program Coordinator, you’ll be a key member of the UK DC program team with responsibility to help drive program deliverables and best practices. The ambition is clear: build an innovative omni-channel DC encompassing the best innovation, automation, and design.  

The role will be based in the UK, with travel required to our main European Logistics Campus in Belgium, particularly during the first few months for onboarding purposes. The role will offer hybrid working, which will require 3 days a week presence on site in our Corby office and the remaining 2 days to work remotely.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will play a key role in enabling the team to deliver one of Nike’s most ambitious programs from build to implementation.  

You will work closely with the Program Management Office (PMO) Manager, Communications Manager and Program Director to help drive end-to-end deliverables across the program. Key responsibilities in this role include: 

  • Work with the PMO Manager to ensure effective program oversight

  • Perform program administration including meeting preparation, coordination, and meeting notes 

  • Analyze program data, prepare, and publish program reports 

  • Assist in preparing presentations for regular governance forums and where needed lead these sessions

  • Support the team in adhering to workstream planning standards

  • Collaborate with Program Directors and Project Managers, to assist in the development, integration, and coordination of the individual workstream plans into one master plan

  • Assist in regular reviews of the program critical path, stream interdependencies as well as perform what if analysis, co-develop contingency plans and provide recommendations to program leaders

  • Delve into specifics, influence, and challenge the various workstreams when needed but always maintain an End to End (E2E) view and reporting towards program leaders and stakeholders

  • Enhance the PMO dashboard to display the latest program information

  • Lead/participate in workshops to identify areas of improvement for the program  

  • Champion and continue to develop internal PMO standards, tools and processes  

  • Identify, track and plan reporting of program benefits against program business case

  • Work with the Communications (Comms) Manager to build and project-manage a multi-level Comms and Engagement plan, aimed at multiple groups of internal and external stakeholders

  • Lead, facilitate and support as required on specific Events associated with the Comms and Engagement plan, including internal/external stakeholder visits to the DC build site

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Experience working in a Project Management environment with understanding of PMO processes and practices.

  • An energized approach to navigating change.

  • Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills with an eye for detail.

  • The ability to craft and deliver impactful presentations to various audiences.

  • Attention to detail skills to monitor and control project deliverables.

  • Experience in taking minutes, actions and decisions in meetings.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data and information effectively.

  • Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft packages is essential, including but not limited to, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience working with Smartsheet and Think Cell is advantageous.

  • Excellent organization skills with a flexible approach to prioritization.

  • A great eye for detail, with a strong ability to problem-solve and still able to maintain a holistic view of the program.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a large, matrixed organization, successfully influencing others and building collaborative partnerships to deliver large scale cross-functional projects.
