WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike Energy is looking for a bold, open-minded Product Graphic Designer to help shape the future of our brand through groundbreaking collaborations across apparel and footwear. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity—someone who approaches the unknown with curiosity and transforms challenges into creative opportunities through collaboration.

This role demands a designer who balances art and science—blending cultural insight, visual innovation, and technical craft. You’ll deliver design solutions that connect trend, design, development, and manufacturing in partnership with both internal and external teams.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON & WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You’ll report directly to the ENERGY – Graphic Design Director and work alongside Graphic peers, Footwear and Apparel Designers, Color Designers, Materials Designers, Developers, and Product Line Managers. Your focus will be creating original graphics, prints, trims, and packaging that meet each product’s unique needs. Every project is its own world—and you’ll help weave those worlds together with Nike’s vision.

WHAT YOU BRING

Ideal candidates are creative problem solvers who are passionate about design, thrive in fast-paced collaboration, and bring powerful, emotionally resonant ideas to life.

  • To be considered, you must submit a creative design portfolio. Please provide website links or attach PDF files when you apply.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
  • 1– 4+ years of directly relevant work experience.
  • Genuine passion for current and emerging design trends—including contemporary art, sports, streetwear, and youth culture.
  • Proven ability to create concepts, iterate, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary product and creative team.
  • Ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling.
  • Adaptability to change and skill in balancing multiple, competing priorities.
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present design intent effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Proficiency in graphic design fundamentals: drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, use of texture, spacing, scale, visual presentation development, and layout—supported by a portfolio that includes non-digital creative work.
  • Knowledge of apparel graphic application, repeat pattern creation, printing techniques for textiles, trim design, and how designs translate from digital to physical.
  • Understanding of apparel product creation and basic garment construction.
  • Ability to embrace diverse perspectives and foster an inclusive environment.
  • Awareness of Nike’s brand, design ethos, and cultural relevance; ability to create original graphics that reflect Nike’s design DNA.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC and comfort working in emerging digital spaces.
  • Open-minded and resilient problem-solving skills.
