- Bachelor’s degree in design or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
- At least 1-2 years of design and/or product trend forecasting experience in agency or in-house setting or equivalent.
- Understanding of the foundations of trend research.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and passion for sport and youth culture, as well as innate curiosity for the future.
- Experienced understanding of design, fashion and street trends.
- Strong curiosity, open minded, with a thirst to research and examine multiple sources for new creative ideas and intelligence.
- Ability to conduct research -- both desk and field. As well as ability to travel for trend research.
- Ability to connect dots and pattern-map in support of synthesizing research findings.
- Skilled in moving between abstract and analytical thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience interviewing consumers is not essential but a desire to learn and develop this skill is.
- Ability to work on your own and collaboratively in a diverse group.
- Optimistic, positive and inclusive spirit with ability and desire to drive collaboration and inspire collective genius.
