Designer - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Develop prototype samples and interact with development, pattern making, materials, apparel lab, field testing and the sample room to exchange ideas and ensure timely completion of each project; Communicate design concepts effectively while focusing on sustainability and presenting concepts within the Men’s Lifestyle team; Commercializing material research and innovation through product application; Prepare presentation materials that effectively communicate the concept behind the line for internal and external audiences; Building awareness of current trends, color, technology and sports related products through research and travel; Collaborate and Problem-Solve with cross-functional team members in innovation, design, development and merchandising to ensure feasibility of designs, meeting price point, merchandising needs, and product creation timelines; Provide design support for the senior designer as needed; and utilizing cross-functional background in serving as a communication partner between design and innovation, aligning on material development, implementation and commercialization. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, and the completion of a graduate-level/university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis or one (1) year of experience involving the following:
• Product Creation
• Adobe Illustrator

• Apple Keynote
• Garment production processes
• Garment construction
