Designer - NIKE USA Inc.- Beaverton, OR. Collaborate and problem solve with cross-functional team members in innovation, design, development and merchandising to ensure feasibility of designs, meeting price point, merchandising needs, and product creation timelines. Develop storytelling and narratives for footwear concepts. Create compelling graphic designs that align to those stories. Collaborate with material and color designers to ensure a cohesive narrative. Communicating design concepts effectively while focusing on sustainability and presenting concepts within the North American Express Lane team that covers all genders and all product types of nike footwear and apparel. Prepare presentation materials that effectively communicate the concept behind the line for internal and external audiences. Build awareness of current trends, color, technology and sports related products through research and travel. Manipulate product photos digitally for creation of seasonal colorized and graphicized versions. Provide design support for the senior designers as needed and utilizing cross-functional background in serving as a communication partner between design and innovation, aligning on material development, implementation and commercialization. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from SD, VT, and WV. 

Must have a  Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a design- related occupation. 

Experience must include: 

Adobe illustrator 

Adobe photoshop 

Keynote 

collaborative and whiteboarding tools incl. miro 

on-product graphic experience incl hard goods and soft goods 

Color theory, color palette building physical and digital 

Trend assesment, trend analysis, reporting and recaps 

Photo manipulation and image separation 

Sketching, drawing, and concepting 

Physical to digital conversion
