As a Digital Supply Chain Specialist, you always start with the consumer in mind. You will envision the future Digital Supply chain and lead improvement tracks to meet the financial and operational targets of our Digital business while delivering on Nike’s strategy.
In partnership with our Digital MSC specialists, Nike Digital operations, Planning, Logistics, and Technology teams, you will deliver innovative, responsible, and scalable improvements to better serve athletes*. You will transform how we run and operate our business by experimenting, developing, and implementing improvements at the speed of the business.
As Digital Supply Chain Specialist, you will lead operational excellence initiatives to serve our digital consumers through strategic activities across Nike systems, tools, and reports. You will drive improvements to meet financial and operational targets while delivering on Nike’s strategy. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and optimize processes, ensuring a seamless and premium service level for our consumers.
Performance management: Drive Digital Supply Chain KPI improvements related to speed,
reliability, and consumer satisfaction by using descriptive and predictive analytics that meet the needs of the future Digital marketplace and consumer. Obsess Consumer Promise KPI’s daily and execute actions to reflect a competitive and reliable delivery promise utilizing various signals.
Reporting: Perform standard KPI root cause analysis, sharing and presenting weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance updates to Nike Digital and Supply Chain leadership.
Project management: Lead small sized improvement projects by applying project management tools to define and follow-up on actions. Participate in medium to large sized cross-functional projects as the MSC Nike Digital subject matter expert.
Storytelling and Influencing: Participate in creation of business cases to improve our daily
processes, tell the story, and share the outcome to cross-functional audience.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to cultivate innovation, identify risks & opportunities of our daily operations, and share best-practice methodologies.
Vision & Communication: Be the voice of our Digital consumers across Nike Digital and
Supply Chain teams through influencing, communicating, and sharing the Digital Operations
Strategy.
Leadership: Prepare and lead operational sessions with both internal and external stakeholders; share digital performance and align actions to optimize the business.
Consumer focus: Understand consumer needs and marketplace from available data, while
being able to link plans to market trends. Awareness of product portfolio and strategy, including expectations around consumer response, growth opportunities, and product lifecycle.
Analytics & Tools: Create and share dedicated Digital Supply Chain reports with relevant
stakeholders (commercial and operational teams) and leverage both EMEA analytics and MPU performance dashboards to share insights.
Your ability to drive service and make the right decisions about prioritization and escalation will be essential in this highly dynamic and international environment.
You will work in a cross-functional agile environment that spans across EMEA and serve the
Marketplace Unit (MPU)’s operational business needs. Within the MPU, you will partner closely with Nike Direct Digital Commerce, Sales, Planning, Finance, Logistics and Technology teams plus external partners. You will report to the Digital Marketplace Supply Chain Manager. This role has no direct reports.
Proven Experience in Supply Chain, planning roles, or functions supporting digital
commerce business with a strong focus on consumer needs and innovation. Understanding of Supply Chain Management and general business principles
Project management: Proven experience in leading small sized projects and participating in
medium sized cross-functional projects.
Storytelling & Influencing: Strong written and verbal communicator, experience in presenting
to cross-functional audiences and leadership.
Stakeholder management: Experience in developing excellent working relationships with
cross functional teams and partners, bringing the right people together and facilitating
operational meetings.
Vision & Leadership: Ambition to drive change, and ability to communicate and influence in a matrix organization.
Analytics: Experience in KPI management and root cause analysis using excel and/or Tableau. Ability to translate data into business insights through visualization (graphs, tables). Experience with SQL is a plus. Ability to translate large and complex data sets into business insights through visualization (graphs, tables). Experience with SQL is a plus.
ERP System experience (SAP is a plus).
