As part of the Direct Allocation team, you'll work closely with the Direct Planning Team, Merchandising, Marketing, Site Merchandising, Store Operations, Marketplace Operations and the Distribution Center teams to drive direct omni channel allocation strategies and execute seasonal plans.

In this role, you will report to the Director of NA Direct Allocation and collaborate extensively with the NA Direct Planning & Buying teams to drive and optimize the Converse North American business.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Direct Allocator to join our North America Direct Allocation team.  This data minded individual will appropriately allocate product to our store fleet & digital warehouse to ensure we have the right product at the right place at the right time.  Allocation strategies and plans will help the Direct channel achieve financial targets by optimizing inventory, managing product flow and mitigating out of stocks to drive consumer demand.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training

  • A minimum of 2 years in allocation, merchandise planning or business planning or other direct relevant work experience

  • A deep understanding of how to use data to drive decisions and communicate business needs effectively

  • Demonstrated experience in allocation planning and understanding of financial, product and inventory planning

  • Self-starter with the skills to mange through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

In this role you will be the allocation business leader of specific category and own allocation strategies for both our stores channel and digital website.  You will work on the following items:

  • Development of allocation strategies and parameter management for a specific product category to appropriately ensure inventory levels meet demand

  • Own weekly flow forecasts and unit shipment plans for your category

  • Partner with cross functional partners to identify pre and in-season inventory opportunities to maximize full price sales

  • Maintain and balance healthy inventory levels with appropriate weeks of supply to support seasonal sales plans

  • Partner with merchandise planning and merchandising to set up the omni channel marketplace for seasonal priorities and promotional moments
