The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,900.00 in our lowest geographic market to $316,000.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.Information about benefits can be found here.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Digital Loss Prevention (DLP) team are experts at identifying fraud, abuse and systematic loopholes that result in financial losses in North America. They work as a team to deliver solutions that protect profit and reduce friction for our members to maximize investment in the business and deliver the best possible product to consumers. The role leads three teams (Quality Assurance, Analytics and Operations) and will be reporting to the Sr. Director Digital Operations in North America and work closely with Sr. Director Global Digital Loss Prevention to deliver the results.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for an outstanding Director of Digital Loss Prevention - to combine their fraud/loss prevention experience, problem solving abilities, team leadership, relationship building, management skills, critical thinking, and creativity to help lead the future of the North America Digital fraud/abuse strategy.
The ideal candidate needs to be a highly collaborative leader, setting aspirational risk mitigation vision in coordination with Global leaders. You will recognize trends inside and outside of Nike that could have a material effect on the profitability of Nike Digital.
This person will be passionate about the brand, applying deep expertise, analytics and operational excellence to protect Nike from bad actors. You will employ various tools in creative ways to mitigate fraud and abuse across the Nike ecosystem.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Psychology or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- Minimum 5 years of experience in abuse mitigation and fraud prevention and 8 years of experience in digital /eCommerce industry (i.e. Amazon, Google, etc.) or Fraud Prevention Systems.
- Expertise in bots, digital products, payment fraud tools (including AI and machine learning solutions), and digital transaction platforms such as Nike.com/App/SNKRS.
- Experience in statistical analysis, data mining and tools such as SQL, Python and R to identify patterns in data.
- Experience managing high-impact projects related to abuse detection, prevention, and mitigation, with a focus on identifying and addressing emerging forms of abuse.
- Experience in both consumer and internal policy development and enforcement to support holistic abuse protection plans.
- Ability to operate in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business opportunities, articulate business implications, and develop strategies to ensure Nike remains best-in-class.
- Strong leadership identity with ability to influence up and down the organization
- Proven history of leading and inspiring a diverse team to deliver high quality results and team engagement.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
This critical role will create and innovate North America Digital Fraud standards, strategies, tools, resources, and vendor relationships to best support fraud and abuse for North America. You will work closely with Global teams to track team and vendor performance and create a consistent operational framework that shape future Digital LP capabilities.
- Identify gaps in current systems, policies and strategies and take actions to mitigate emerging fraud risks with guidance from your teams.
- Champion the needs of business teams and stakeholders throughout the development process, ensuring that what is delivered meets the original goals and objectives of the project
- Build strong relationships with Digital Operations, HR, Finance, Legal, Digital Product, Global DLP, Global Investigation and other cross functional teams to develop comprehensive omni-channel protection strategies and operate the best-in-class loss prevention organization
- Manage multiple projects to enhance and optimize fraud strategy systems and tools
- Recommend enhancements and process improvements based on assessment of fraud systems and processes
- Partner with various project teams to identify fraud impacts, and provide recommendations and requirements to ensure optimal fraud controls balanced with customer experience
- Communicate and report overall status, primary metrics, essential fraud issues and solution plans and readiness timelines to senior management
- Shape the vision, direction and culture of Nike Digital Loss Prevention. Build a highly engaged and productive DLP team with talent bench.
