The candidate will be part of a team who is passionate about enabling reporting and insights in service of the Finance function to drive sustainable and profitable growth for Nike. Regular partnerships include a wide range of Finance leaders and teams, as well as cross-functional organizations, to drive alignment and adoption of scaled reporting solutions.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a strategic leader with deep expertise in financial reporting and visualization who can drive transformation at a global scale. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and technical acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, foster innovation, and lead high-performing teams. This role requires an enterprise mindset, proven change leadership, and a passion for enabling data-driven decisions across a complex, matrixed organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Data and Analytics, Business, Finance or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
10+ years of experience leading reporting and visualization initiatives, including, leading large-scale reporting transformations
Demonstrated success in implementing standardized reporting frameworks and visualization strategies globally
Technical Expertise
Deep understanding of financial statements and finance business processes
Strong track record of leading change in a complex, matrix organization
Mastery of finance-specific analytics and reporting frameworks
Expert in Data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
Proficient in SQL and familiar with cloud data stacks (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
Leadership & Influence
Exceptional ability to simplify complex problems and drive scalable solutions
Expert interpersonal, written and verbal skills with proven ability to educate, inform, persuade, and achieve understanding and buy-in across technical and business audiences
Proven track record of leading change in a global, matrixed organization
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will define the vision for future state financial reporting and visualization to achieve transformation objectives of increased efficiency, effectiveness, and experience for the function. Specifically you will,
Define and execute the vision for global financial reporting and visualization to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user experience
Establish best practices for self-service and standardized reporting at scale
Lead a team responsible for month-end performance management and quarterly external reporting, ensuring data integrity and consistency
Be a champion for change, driving adoption of standardized reporting and visualization tools across Finance, advancing new ways of working
Create strong connections and partner with global finance leaders to co-develop solutions and optimize reporting processes
Oversee the development and delivery of reporting training leveraging Nike’s learning and development guidelines as well as managing centralized reporting portals
