Director, Global Retail Store Design - NIKE. INC - Beaverton, OR. Create, refine, and evolve retail environments, fixtures and materials across the full Nike stores portfolio. Build creative direction for design development and generates implementation standards for consistent execution throughout projects. Lead a team to develop the right approach for each project, factoring in the needs of the Consumer, the Brand and Business partners. Communicate and present design concepts to the Sr. Design Director and create presentation materials that effectively communicate design intent, as well as produce project production files when required. Work under the direction of a Sr. Design Director, and in partnership with Director-level peers. Lead and develop small design teams to realize innovative, original retail displays and digital solutions for retail environments, as well as provide leadership development and design direction to junior level designers. Collaborate with internal and external design teams to complete multiple projects by using design processes and best practices to ensure the creative intent, design results, timelines and budgets are met. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Design and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a Design-related occupation. Experience must include: 

  • Brand/retail design 

  • Retail environments and fixture design 

  • CAD programs (Autocad, vectorworks) 

  • 3D visualization (SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino, 3D Max) 

  • Creative Suite 

  • International project execution 

  • Design management 

  • Presentation software such as keynote 

OR 

Must have No Degree and 8 years of experience in the job offered or a Design-related occupation. Experience must include: 

  • Brand/retail design 

  • Retail environments and fixture design 

  • CAD programs (Autocad, vectorworks) 

  • 3D visualization (SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino, 3D Max) 

  • Creative Suite 

  • International project execution 

  • Design management 

  • Presentation software such as keynote
