The annual base salary for this position ranges from $157,600.00 in our lowest geographic market to $332,300.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Nike’s Icon Studios produces best-in-class visual assets that power the brand’s global product storytelling across digital and retail channels. We are looking for a seasoned Post-Production Director with deep technical mastery and refined creative sensibilities to lead our post-production department.

As a key member of the Icon Studios leadership team, you will oversee a well-established, high-performing post-production team responsible for delivering premium assets ranging from product photography to motion content at scale. This role encompasses leadership across video editing, retouching, color grading, asset management, and publishing workflows.

You’ll bring a forward-thinking approach to workflow design, team development, and technology integration—ensuring Nike maintains the highest standards in visual execution while operating with efficiency and creative excellence.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for an innovative post-production expert—someone who is equal parts creative and technical architect. You possess a deep understanding of the nuances between still and motion workflows and can fluently lead teams across both mediums. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As the Post-Production Director, you’ll lead a high-performing team responsible for all foundational ecommerce assets that support Nike’s digital and retail business. You will:

  • Develop and oversee best-in-class workflows for still and motion post-production

  • Establish and evolve scalable systems, tools, and talent to meet growing global demands

  • Leverage automation and advanced technology while preserving the highest creative standards

  • Oversee post-production support models for mid-funnel and campaign content, collaborating closely with Brand and Marketing teams

  • Manage vendor relationships, freelance networks, and cross-functional partnerships

  • Maintain rigorous security protocols to protect sensitive product and campaign assets

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure seasonal readiness and quality asset delivery

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to the Global Senior Director of Icon Studios and work daily with Creative, Studio Production, Planning, Digital Imaging, and Operations leads. You’ll be embedded in a deeply cross-functional environment, collaborating with:

  • Creative Operations and Brand Creative

  • Marketing Technology, Capabilities, and Shared Services

  • External post-production vendors and creative specialists across global markets

This role requires expert-level communication and influence across technical and creative teams to align on executional excellence.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years in a senior post-production leadership role within high-volume commercial content environments

  • 10+ years managing retouching, editing, or post-production teams (internal & freelance)

  • 15+ years of hands-on post-production experience (retouching, editing, or imaging pipeline)

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Production, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training

  • Expertise in post-production software: Full Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, DaVinci Resolve, etc.

  • A strong online portfolio showcasing still and motion post work (especially product, lifestyle, and editorial assets)

  • Proven experience scaling and managing post operations at a global brand or agency

  • Deep technical knowledge in file formats, color management, video codecs, and DAM workflows

  • Established network of freelance editors, retouchers, and post vendors

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Certified Expert (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro)

  • Experience with computer graphics, CGI, and 3D rendering workflows

  • Experience in global retail, e-commerce, or fashion/sportswear industries

  • Familiarity with Studio DAM systems and automated workflow tools

  • Leadership experience at the manager-of-managers level

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executive stakeholders
