WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
A core part of the Greater China Energy Marketing offense, Relationship Management helps incubate, grow and shape Nike brand’s partnership with creative communities, who have a dynamic and constantly evolving expression of sport culture, and sometimes sport itself.
We are looking for a Relationship Management Director to spearhead a team of seasoned professionals who have cultivated a diverse network of creative partners across fashion, art, design and streetwear. The candidate will craft a shared vision for this highly selected community and Nike brand, rooted in strong understanding of the local culture and brand heritage. In addition, the candidate will lead the team to explore and test the unknown territory that shapes, sometimes redefines, the future of sport culture.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in brand marketing, creative development and delivery, hands-on relationship management and project management experience. He or she should have a solid understanding on how a creative organization should run its business, with proven record of successful delivery.
This individual will also play equal part problem solver and doer with the capability to bring developed strategy into real-life experience. He or she should excel in driving complex, cross functional plans in a highly matrixed organization, with the capability and will to lead teammates moving forward. Last but least, this person will act as the unlock of team individual’s potentials, while steering the collectives together towards long term goal.
This role reports into the Senior Director of Energy Marketing, GC.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As our Relationship Management Director, you will be responsible for shaping the future of Nike brand’s sport culture offense in GC, together with Energy Marketing Brand Team, in partnership with cross-functional team leaders.
You will drive critical work across below key areas:
1. Driving the Offense: 1). Develop strategic vision and framework for relationship management, in consideration to existing communities and partners as well as white space. 2). Cultivate a collective of partners based on distinctive individual POV and positioning that together will express and shape Nike brand’s POV on youth and sport culture.
2. Catalyzing Sport Through the Lens of Culture: 1). Direct and explore partnership opportunity across Sport & Sportwear pre-season and in-season. 2). Drive successful creative and project delivery by leading the functional expertise and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
3. Unlocking the Team: 1). Enable each team member to unlock their area of expertise and network of partners by driving and allocating projects with most synergy. 2). Facilitate synergized offense across network of partners beyond stand-alone offense, where applicable. 3). Focus on providing the right space for individual growth and career development.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
10+ years of relevant experience in brand marketing / creative strategy, relationship management, project management.
Experience leading complex strategic projects and demonstrated success in leading a methodical process of analyzing problems, gathering information, generating options and then proposing and acting on a course of action.
Proven success to pull together diverse individuals, across internal and external network, with different goals and facilitate productive discussions, to drive critical processes and management routines.
Mastery of business communication tools and verbal/ written communication to promote conceptual understanding and mobilize change through storytelling.
Strategic enterprise thinking with experience supporting senior/ executive leaders
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
