POSITION LOCATION & SCHEDULE
This position is based in the Nike Atlanta Technology Center in downtown Atlanta. The weekly schedule is a 4/1 hybrid schedule (Mondays-Thursdays in the office with Fridays optional working from home).
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be part of a growing technology team focused on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud. You'll work closely with your peer engineering team and leadership, as well as the Technology Operations team and the Digital Product team.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for experienced Software Engineers to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise ecommerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. We are NOT seeking Salesforce APEX developers for this role, rather, we are seeking experienced JavaScript developers (front OR back-end). Experience with SFCC is desired, but not required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field, or relevant professional experience, education, and training
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Excellent, modern JavaScript programming skills (front OR back-end)
- Understanding of ecommerce business processes
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware is desired, but not required
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As an eCommerce Software Engineer, you will work on enhancing and maintaining features within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform, ensuring adherence to best practices. You will be responsible for front-end and/or back-end functionality, technical documentation, and collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth deployment and issue resolution.
In this position, you will:
- Develop and maintain features using SFCC best practices
- Implement feature functionality
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
- Support testing and deployment activities
- Collaborate with QA team for issue resolution
