WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

In 1981, Nike created the EKIN team (EKIN is “Nike” spelled backwards) to serve as Nike’s Athlete Missionaries, building deep and meaningful relationships with athletes in the community.  EKINs served as the baton between Nike’s products and customers, sharing product insights and innovations while converting others to discover a passion for sport.

Today, the EKIN team continues that mission, bringing Nike’s inspiration and innovation to athletes around the globe.

This role will report into the Territory EKIN Manager and will work closely with your territory EKINs and marketing teams to prioritize seasonal opportunities.  This role will collaborate with account training to optimize education touchpoints and deliver elevated experiences in the market. This role will work with Marketing stakeholders across retail and brand each season to authenticate the product through community or brand activations. This role will also guide field leadership teams and store teams as implementation partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This role will join our team based in Philippines. The ideal candidate is a dedicated sport enthusiast, with a passion for product and excellent presentation skills. These qualities have driven EKINs success for over 40 years, and they will continue to power Nike for the next 50.

This role will help maintain brand consistency, build relationships, and deliver exceptional educational experiences, in Nike-owned stores, with key retail partners, and with the community.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • 2 years of retail, sales, marketing, customer service, mentoring, or instructing experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the running market, consumer trends, local market hot spots, and retail destinations
  • Strong communication and engagement skills. Ability to connect and inspire people, meeting facilitation and making strategic recommendations.
  • Must have a deep passion for the NIKE brand and sports.
  • Positive and active presence on social media and across the digital world with experience in content creation and online storytelling.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Experience with an event agency or large-scale special events preferred but not required.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This role will help bring the best of Nike to life for our consumers. The EKIN will be responsible to curate and deliver trainings, experiences and immersive storytelling to our retail firstline teams and communities aligned to seasonal brand plans, with an aim to elevate consumer experiences

  • Bringing key Nike business and brand stories to life across the marketplace as Nike’s product authority.
  • Leveraging marketplace expertise to develop and authenticate locally relevant seasonal brand plans aligned with city, territory marketing teams.
  • Creating experiential training sessions that energize Retail Associates in your market with effective tools that drive reach and impact across multiple formats including video, virtual and immersive in-person sessions.
  • Actively engage with sport communities. You will integrate and collaborate with the community in meaningful and impactful ways that reinforce Nike’s mission and beliefs.
  • You will serve as Nike’s eyes and ears, shaping marketplace insights with observations of the consumer, product, competition, and trends.
