WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

In this role you will report directly into the Senior Director, Brand Marketing Latam and be a member of the Latam Marketing Leadership Team. You will be responsible for leading, coaching, driving and inspiring the Digital Marketing team, with accountability for growth and development of this talent. You will work with cross-functional marketing team members, bringing big ideas to life. Partner functions within Marketing will include Brand Management, Integrated Media, Brand Creative and Retail Marketing. You will also foster effective partnerships with Brand Planning & Operations and Communications. You will lead alignment with cross-functional business partners in Nike Direct Digital Commerce, driving the business together. You will partner with the Asia-Pacific Latin America Geography and Global Brand Marketing teams across Nike and Jordan to provide consumer insights, develop and drive plans, ensuring our brand standards are reflected across our channels. Your key external partners include NDDC Partner platforms like Mercado Libre.

We’re looking for a Director, Digital Marketing leader to join our Mexico City-based marketing team. Team leadership is a critical capability as well as a deep understanding of the consumer, their lifestyle and their relationship with sport. In this role you must also have the ambition to be one of the world’s most innovative storytellers, value visionary thinking, play as a team, and champion imagination to create a distinctive, brand right consumer experience. This will require understanding of quantifiable metrics along with qualitative assessment of human nature. A passion for sport, relentless curiosity for the consumer and a belief in our brand vision are essential to helping us create the future for the Nike brand. Leading our team of digital marketing experts requires the ability to think strategically about a full digital eco-system, while driving brand priorities with commercial outcomes and building long-term consumer loyalty. A deep knowledge and genuine curiosity of the tech and new-media landscape are essential to drive digital innovation and foster authentic engagement with the Nike brand and product.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Marketing, Business or a closely related field.
  • A passion for digital marketing, loyalty marketing, and brand storytelling across owned eco-systems
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing or related experience in brand marketing and/ or retail marketing including cross-functional business acumen.
  • Team leadership, experience managing direct reports with a proven ability to coach and develop talent.
  • Ability to develop strategy and lead initiatives across Nike.com, apps, lifecycle marketing and social.
  • Ability to utilize data, analytics and insights to effectively inform strategy and execution across digital channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English to communicate effectively across multiple levels of seniority within the organization.
  • A strong vision for the future direction of brands in the digital space, grounded in a deep understanding of key consumer behaviors, the technology and new media landscape, and an affinity for digital environments and ecosystems.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

As our Digital Marketing leader in Latam, you will set Latam digital marketing vision, articulate that vision through strategic plans, and lead your team to bring it to life. You will be leading a team to execute our brand concepts across owned platforms, including Nike.com, Nike App, Snkrs Web, NRC/NTC Apps, Targeted communications, CXP and NDDC Partners platforms like Mercado Libre. Additionally, leveraging earned channels such as external digital platform partnerships and collaborating with ‘Creators’ will be

essential. You will extend the global vision by providing strategic leadership to deliver best in class plans leveraging the power of the full Nike eco-system, managing seasonal journeys across all Sports, delivering consumer engagement and growth. You will drive the key consumer moments and Always-On offense to manage acquisition and retention. You will lead the digital marketing process, make presentations and guide the team’s work with inspiration and collaboration. You will be responsible for planning and managing a budget with the operations team, ensuring that we maximize our resources to deliver with impact and on time. Success will be measured based on increases in our brand strength, consumer engagement, and business growth.
