WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role reports to the Manager, EKIN Experience & Training Korea. You will collaborate closely with Account Training & Delivery partners to optimize education touchpoints against the holistic vision of Store Athlete education in Korea marketplace and more broadly. As well as business team and Store teams as implementation partners. You will work with brand marketing team each season to authenticate the product through community or brand activations. Additionally, you will manage external vendor partners in the creation of training events.

In 1981, Nike created the EKIN team (EKIN is “Nike” spelled backwards) to serve as Nike’s Athlete Missionaries, building deep and meaningful relationships with athletes in the community. EKINs served as the baton between Nike’s products and customers, sharing product insights and innovations while converting others to discover a passion for sport.
Today, the EKIN team continues that mission, bringing Nike’s inspiration and innovation to athletes around the globe. While this role has a strong focus on running, EKINs represent Nike across all sports, ensuring that every athlete can find the right gear to make athlete dreams real.
You will help maintain brand consistency, build relationships, and deliver exceptional educational experiences, in Nike-owned stores, with key retail partners, and with the community. The ideal candidate is a dedicated sport enthusiast, with excellent presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher; or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
- Minimum 2 years of retail, sales, customer service, mentoring, or instructing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of the sports market as it relates to consumer trends, local market hot spots, and retail destinations (Running/ACG, Training, Football, Basketball, Jordan)
- Ability to connect and inspire people, meeting facilitation and making strategic recommendations
- Ability to drive a culture of always-on testing and learning, including the rapid application of consumer signals into strategy, planning, and content iteration
- Passion for sport, the Nike brand and strong team player committed to Nike and making a difference
- Positive and active presence on social media and across the digital world with experience in content creation and online storytelling
- Strong track record in strategic planning and activation execution across office, retail, and multiple venue types
- Experience with an event agency or large-scale special events preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Korean
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
In this role, you will focus on bringing the best of Nike Experience to our Store Athletes through experiential training, onboarding and passionate storytelling. You will serve as Nike’s eyes and ears, shaping marketplace insights with observations of the consumer, product, competition, and trends.
- Bring seasonal key product innovation and brand stories to life across the marketplace as Nike’s product authority
- Leverage marketplace expertise to develop locally relevant seasonal plans aligned with cross-functional teams
- Leverage your passion and position to strategically authenticate Nike brand stories in the Korea marketplace
- Develop engaging training experiences for Store Athletes across all channels, using effective tools to deliver impact through video, virtual, and immersive in-person formats
- Occasionally present Nike innovation as a guest speaker in consumer-facing events, with internal cross-functional teams.
