WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Lead to oversee Nike’s Global Travel Program Strategies, Supplier Relationship Management, and Travel Technologies. This role will be responsible for stewarding our global travel program and strategies in collaboration with our Operations lead and regional delivery teams, ensuring the effectiveness of our supplier base across Air, Car, Hotel, Ground, Rail, and technology in alignment with our service ethos. This role will guide current and future technologies to support our travelers and provide key performance insights that could shape the future of the program. Given that the success of our program relies heavily on a robust supplier base, this role will also be tasked with establishing and maintaining impactful relationships in collaboration with our Partner Enablement and Procurement teams. We are looking for someone who can build relationships, influence stakeholders, and articulate strategy effectively.
The candidate must have experience in corporate travel with the proven ability to combine industry trends and standards, their own experiences, and the needs of Nike to deliver strong strategies.

Global Places and Services (GPS) is responsible for leading the transformation of the Nike workplace by making location a competitive advantage through a relentless focus on physical space, services and portfolio solutions.
The GPS team will leverage systems, design thinking, and key partnerships across the Nike matrix and the industry to bring Nike to the forefront of new ways of working. GPS will serve as an enterprise catalyst under the CFO, helping to lead change, strengthen its global operations and accelerate progress toward Nike’s strategic objectives and in support of our strategic offense.
Within GPS, Nike Travel is moving and connecting employees around the globe at optimal service levels and cost. This role is part of a global team supported by an external Travel Management Company (TMC). If this is you, you’ll be part of the GPS Services Team, you will report into the Director of Travel and Global Events and collaborate closely with your peers within the Travel Team.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
If this is you, you will be a member of the Global Travel Team as part of the Global Travel and Events Team and will have oversight and execution responsibilities in tasks like:
- Create and maintain global travel strategies across Air, Car, Hotel, Ground, Rail, and Technology; collaborating with regional teams and stakeholders to ensure program efficiencies and effectiveness
- Strategically articulate current program and future shifts to support in keeping users informed
- Co-create, deploy, and maintain a robust supplier engagement plan, working with internal standards and an already existing supplier base to ensure effectiveness globally
- Responsible for supplier management; business reviews, RFPs, program optimization, resolving supplier issues, contract management, and representing Nike on select customer boards
- Responsible for all current and future technologies inclusive of end-user engagement
- Create a process and cadence for internal and external trend analysis
- Analyze travel data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for program improvements, develop and deliver regular reporting and presentations to stakeholders on the performance and impact of the Global Travel Program
WHAT YOU BRING
The candidate will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
- A minimum of 8 years directly relevant work experience, including corporate travel experience
- Experience of launched travel services and successful implementations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across many different users, teammates and partner groups, having the ability to deliver and bring along a global vision and approach
- Experience working with teams with collaborative approach
- Demonstrated project & program management skills with the ability to manage complex projects and programs with cross-functional teams
- Experience managing suppliers
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to analyze reporting and decide where corrective action is necessary
- Experience with travel management technology, such as online booking tools, expense management systems, and travel risk management tools
