WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Sales Leader that is passionate about the Nike Brand and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products for the Foot Locker & Champs Canada retail banners.  

A successful candidate will bring a proven track record leveraging industry, consumer and account data, insights and analytics to make decisions and drive change, with a strong knowledge of product and business trends.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will develop accurate and realistic go-to-market plans, seasonal assortments, forecasts, and manage gross to net (G2N) for Foot Locker & Champs Canada retail banners.  Consumer insights will need to be understood and managed to ensure that key products are supported at the right doors and are in the path of Nike’s targeted consumers. 

You will establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Communication is key as we act as a bridge between the marketplace and the internal cross functional teams at Nike. Demonstrating the ability to lead and influence will strengthen our account partnership and promote process improvements.

Analyzing data is required in this role as it will drive decision making on what product makes up the assortment and how much product to sell to maintain a healthy inventory level at retail.  

You will meet all reporting deadlines in a timely and consistent manner while maintaining positive relationships with the retailer.  

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

The successful candidate will join the Foot Locker/Champs team based in Toronto and manage a specific Nike sport/gender portfolio.  This position reports to the Director, Foot Locker/Champs Canada.

You will work and communicate directly with the corporate head offices of Foot Locker & Champs Canada.  The ability to tailor communication to all positions/levels of the organization is a must. Ex) Buying team, planning, ops and leadership to name a few.   

You will work cross functionally with Nike teammates in merchandising, marketing, planning, finance, and operations to help support the partner. 

WHAT YOU BRING

·       You have at least 4+ years of experience in strategic account management, driving and executing account strategies

·       The ability to instill trust by cultivating positive relationships both cross functionally within Nike and with the account

·       A proven track record of leveraging industry, consumer and account data, insights and analytics to make decisions and drive change

·       Team first mentality with an enterprise approach to grow both the business and internal culture as part of a ONE TEAM environment

·       Problem-solver, with the ability to lead and influence

·       Bachelors’ Degree suggested or higher in the field of sales, economics or relevant topic

·       Ability to travel as required across Canada & USA

The annual base compensation for this position generally ranges from $102,400- $152,400 CAD/annually.  Actual compensation will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
