WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role will be reporting to the Sr. Director, GPS (Global Places and Services) EMEA based in Nike’s European Headquarters in Hilversum, the Netherlands and serve as a member of GPS’s EMEA Leadership Team. This role will work closely with the members of the GPS EMEA team, members of the global GPS teams, key country- and location stakeholders, and managers within Nike’s global functions such as Finance, Procurement, Legal, Communications and Technology.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

We’re looking for a Manager, GPS EMEA Services Operations who will lead end-to-end Services Operations across the region. This role will enable EMEA GPS. operations by implementing and overseeing rhythm of the business activities, tools and process across teams, locations, GPS partners and suppliers to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. It will also include presenting financial plans, forecasts and strategies in key meetings, proactively report on health of the business and facilitate smart business decisions, and action plans to the Nike team and suppliers.

A strong candidate, an expert in business administration, supplier performance management and a proven team leader with highly effective communication skills and transformative problem-solving skills, a talent for orchestrating and overseeing strategy implementation. 

The candidate needs:

  • Extensive direct relevant work experience with progressive leadership responsibilities across teams and suppliers in Fortune 500 work environment with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, or combination of relevant education, experience. 

  • Demonstrated ability to collect and asses’ data, create insights and operationalize complex programs to meet commitments that are aligned with organizational goals in a dynamic, highly matrixed, fast-paced environment.

  • Expertise in directing and managing a team, partner and supplier relationships.

  • Proven contracting, financial analysis and program management skills with knowledge of legal terminology and language related to supplier agreements.

  • Strong interpersonal, highly developed communication in verbal and written and collaboration skills to engage with user groups and to build networks with GPS and other key Nike partners.

  • A proven track record of collaborating and influencing in a highly matrixed organization across a variety of internal and external partners with cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.

  • Knowledge of construction project management, real estate portfolio management and/or corporate services is a plus.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

If this is you, you will be an integral part of the work that stewards and mobilizes the organization to deliver against our annual and long-term planning process. You will partner with our EMEA locations, suppliers and global team, driving rhythm of the business activities and coordinating implementation of global tools and processes that power GPS’ strategy. You will represent the EMEA team and collect insights and best practices to create a holistic EMEA capture to fuel innovation.

Your accountabilities and tasks will include, but not limited to:

  • Plan & align, prioritize and operationalize large, complicated programs to meet commitments in a dynamic, highly matrixed, fast-paced environment. 

  • Support the EMEA delivery of key operating moments in the global planning cycle including driving long-term planning, OKR development, AOP etc.

  • Partner with EMEA Finance and GPS EMEA locations to bring our financial storytelling to life, ensuring we have the proper reporting to support our business decisions.

  • Lead critical projects as needs arise, leaning in and identifying opportunities, creating business cases, gathering support and delivering desired outcomes. 

  • Coordinate our capital investment approval process (PMO) for our geo, supporting in process and storytelling of our investments holistically to the individual investment cases.

  • Manage a team of high performing talent.

  • Drive supplier rhythm of the business activities including financial and performance management.
