WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be part of the Nike Direct Digital Commerce Operations team and report to the Merchandising Operations Manager. You will work closely with the Nike Stores (NSO, Digital) Merchandising team for your assigned segment and collaborate daily with cross-functional partners, including Supply Chain, Planning, Allocation, Liquidation, and Nike Global vendors.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Nike Direct Merchandising Operations Specialist I to join our Operations team based at Nike’s European Headquarters in the Netherlands.
Nike Direct Merchandising Operations plays a critical role in delivering the right product assortment to consumers across Nike Direct channels, including NSO, NVS, and Digital, each season. This role is focused on the accurate and timely execution of seasonal assortments, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across merchandising systems and tools.
As a Specialist I, you will support day‑to‑day operational execution by completing defined tasks within merchandising systems, maintaining data integrity, and meeting agreed timelines. You will work closely with internal partners by following established workflows and supporting the smooth rollout of assortments across channels. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys structured, execution‑focused work and takes pride in delivering high‑quality, reliable output.
Key skills:
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accurate and timely task execution
Ability to follow defined processes and execute operational workflows consistently
Proficiency in data entry and Excel, with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity
Basic understanding of SAP and data management; familiarity with Airtable is a plus, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Clear and effective communication within immediate and cross‑functional teams
Well‑organized and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Enjoys executional and administrative tasks, with a focus on quality and consistency
Demonstrates ownership in day‑to‑day responsibilities and understands how their work contributes to overall team success
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will support the execution of Nike’s seasonal assortments across Nike Direct channels (NSO, NVS, and Digital). Working with Merchants, Planners, Allocators, and Digital partners, you will carry out operational tasks, maintain systems and tools, and help ensure accurate and timely product availability across the Nike Direct Stores and Digital.
Your responsibilities will include:
Executing defined operational tasks to support seasonal assortment plans across Nike Direct channels
Maintaining and updating product assortments in core merchandising systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Supporting buying and trading processes through accurate system execution and timely updates
Acting as an operational point of contact for Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, and Digital teams
Monitoring and flagging data or process issues to support smooth and consistent execution
Supporting Airtable tools, including data updates, KPI tracking, and automation of information flows to improve clarity and reduce follow‑ups
Following established workflows and timelines to ensure reliable, consistent execution
