WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH 

As Merchant II, Neighborhood (NBHD), you’ll partner with several cross-functional teams – consumer planning, product creation, GEO merch, and consumer insights & analytics as well as the gender merchandising teams.  

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

We are looking for a curious, energetic, and coachable merchant. You have demonstrated an awareness and understanding of the consumer and the dynamics of the marketplace. You have shown a passion to learn, make mistakes, and grow. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and excited to take on new concepts and ideas. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training 

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying 

  • Demonstrated understanding of consumer and marketplace 

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, experience working on new projects/start-ups/concepts/ideas 

  • Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends 

  • Attention to detail 

  • Ability to collaboratively manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities 

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners 

  • Team first mentality, energy giver 

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON 

As Merchant II, NBHD, you will enable the strategizing, building, and managing of global line plans and product journeys cross-functionally. You'll craft detailed product journeys and document the mechanics of collaborations with external partners. The role involves handling high-energy, limited edition drops through an internal quick strike process, requiring you to work both within and outside the core team to elevate ongoing projects. The environment is fast-paced and requires a high level of acumen. Work will be strategically aligned with business objectives, ensuring that all efforts contribute to Nike’s success. 

A consistent part of your day-to-day responsibilities will be the detailed management, maintenance and communication of all seasonal tools and assortments. Enabling this effort will be the development of key relationships among cross-functional teammates, comfort with research and analysis, along with a genuine curiosity and commitment to learn and evolve.

Para los puestos de Retail, tendrás que completar una evaluación interactiva de entre 10 y 20 minutos que incluye una conversación y cuestionarios. Independientemente de tu puesto, queremos conocer todas tus facetas, así que no tengas reparo en enseñar cómo ofreces un servicio premium y qué es lo que te diferencia de los demás.
