SENIOR ASSORTMENT PLANNER, NIKE DIRECT DIGITAL COMMERCE (NDDC) – NORTH AMERICA

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll join the Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) Planning team, driving the financial and inventory strategy for Nike’s Direct business in North America. You’ll partner closely with Merchandising, Finance, and cross-functional planning teams, reporting into Planning leadership while collaborating across digital and stores retail functions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike needs a sharp, data-driven planner who thrives in complexity and moves with purpose. This role calls for someone who can translate numbers into clear stories and turn those stories into action. You are naturally curious, highly organized, and able to navigate ambiguity while driving toward outcomes. You connect the dots across data, product, and consumer insights to shape plans that deliver profitability and relevance.
You bring strong analytical horsepower and the ability to communicate with clarity—whether you’re building forecasts or presenting to stakeholders. You don’t wait for direction. You create structure where it doesn’t exist and build tools that scale. You collaborate deeply, challenge thinking, and elevate the work of those around you.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with data tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, or Power BI preferred
  • Experience in retail planning, merchandising, or inventory management strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will create and manage the financial and inventory plans that power Nike Direct. You’ll forecast demand, track performance, and partner across teams to adjust in real time—ensuring the right product hits the right consumer at the right moment.
  • Build and manage seasonal and in-season sales and inventory plans that align with merchandising and business strategies
  • Partner with Merchandising and cross-functional teams to develop consumer-right assortment and pricing strategies
  • Analyze business performance weekly, identifying risks and opportunities, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Own and evolve reporting tools that drive clarity, consistency, and decision-making across the planning team
  • Lead forecast updates and variance reporting across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences
  • Manage markdown strategies and price positioning across the portfolio in alignment with marketplace dynamics
  • Drive lifecycle management from product launch through close-out, optimizing inventory health and financial outcomes
