Who you will work with
You will report directly to the Innovation Creative Studio Lead and partner across the Innovation Engagement team. You will interface with innovators, makers, scientists, and athletes to identify, curate, and capture Nike innovation stories that elevate the products, people, and capabilities driving the future of sport.
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for an Innovation Creative Studio intern to assist with content creation, primarily photography and videography. They will also be a thought partner in innovating our approach to content creation – they live at the intersection of content production, cultural insights, and strategic storytelling.
We value passion, creativity, and experimentation along with versatility and curiosity. It takes a dedicated team player that knows how to collaborate, take feedback, and thrives in the potential of ambiguity. This person will also need to translate complex insights and technology into authentic narratives and content solutions that will create demand for Nike innovations, internally and externally.
Position Requirements:
Must be enrolled in a full-time program with a graduation date between Winter 2026 and Spring/Summer 2027, with a concentration in Photography, Film, Media, Creative Direction or related field.
Must be able to present a portfolio showcasing relevant content creation experience. We recommend 3-5 projects illustrating your process from ideation to finished product
Passion and understanding of current and emerging trends and visual culture.
Ability to prioritize competing priorities based on business impact
Proficient understanding of pre-production, production, and post-production of stills and motion assets.
Strong visual and verbal communication skills, able to effectively present creative intent to internal audiences.
Understanding of photo/video lighting, sound recording, and digital workflows
Proficient in Adobe CC and photo and video editing software
Knowledge of footwear or apparel product creation is a plus

What you will work on
From assisting on film and photo shoots, to developing storyboards and shot lists, helping intake and brief in content creation requests, identifying story opportunities, to researching new approaches to storytelling, you will be challenged by a wide range of responsibilities and experiences. You will use your skills to contribute to and or create narratives and visuals unique to Nike.
You will also be tasked with developing and producing a content program showcasing Nike’s distinct innovation advantage targeted to Gen Z. This could be a video, photo series, or any other media format that most effectively delivers the message. This will include the end-to-end planning and execution including research/trends identification, creative direction, production and post-production, and distribution.
