  • Advanced SQL skills are mandatory. Experience querying big data environments (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks) is preferred. The ideal candidate also has experience with Python

  • Proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze data, formulate hypotheses, and provide recommendations to a broad range of stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, IT or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll work to design, develop, and implement new decision support solutions that help the business leverage data to make informed decisions. You will use your expertise with both business and technology to help the product owner be successful and the data engineers be efficient.

  • You will gather requirements and design data flows to intake financial transactions, develop and test complex business rules, identify and model data against product and customer attribution to support financial optimization and deep analytics

  • You will perform data analyses across multiple source systems and data platforms

  • You will document technical details into easy-to-read artifacts that are consumed both internally and by stakeholders

  • You will work cross-functionally with Finance Data Governance, Financial Reporting, and with stakeholders across different domains of FP&A

  • You’ll be responsible for building the financial analytic capabilities that transform Nike to meet the challenges of a mixed retail and wholesale future
