The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,500.00 in our lowest geographic market to $339,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Icon Studios Creative is part of Nike’s Global Brand Creative team, responsible for the creation of Nike’s foundational E-Commerce imaging and video. As part of the Global Brand Creative team, you will have a directly visible impact on the public face of one of the world’s most coveted and recognizable brands. This role will oversee the look and feel and content creation for Nike’s PDP content capture, from casting to shoot planning to art direction through post-production. You will be responsible for overseeing brand imaging across all Nike product categories, on-figure and off-figure, working across a creative team of art directors, photographers, DPs, stylists, hair and makeup and collaborating with cross-functional partners in production and post-production to manage content creation at scale. You are passionate and connected to the creative industry and this ever-expanding knowledge, network and interest both inspire and drive your creative thinking.

The exceptional candidate will have a diverse and well-rounded skill set across sport and fashion image making for both stills and video, creating inspirational, contemporary content while collaborating with a team. This candidate should have an exceptional taste level and creative eye, as well as deep technical skills and literacy in photo and motion art direction.  You have experience in Brand Creative and are skilled at intaking and strategically responding to creative briefs and driving forward new creative directions. You are an exceptional presenter and visual communicator with demonstrated success translating business goals by balancing quality with productivity.
This role will help lead a team of multidisciplinary creatives across multiple high-volume workstreams day to day in our Los Angeles photo studio.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Leading Nike Brand Imaging for E-Commerce assets for on-figure and off-figure

  • Deliver outstanding photography and video content.

  • A strong knowledge of creative development process, deep understanding of navigating creative briefs with thoughtful, strategic and tactical creative response, detailing approach and intended outcomes.

  • Articulating your creative vision in a clear way within the team and different partners, as well as driving decisions.

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing brand creative directions, with a strong focus on consumer brands preferred.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with photographers and external creative partners, working strategically with other leads in the business to ensure the strongest approach to external talent.

  • Keep up to date with emerging trends in fashion, design, film, art, media and technology as relevant to Nike and the design team.

  • Collaborate and partner within the process of production at scale per Nike’s E-Commerce best practices and standards.

  • Ensure all work is well-planned, creatively exceptional, and delivered in a timely manner.

  • Review work for highest standards of quality, consistency and success.

  • Working in a high-volume creative studio environment while being positive and creatively engaged.



WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report directly to the Senior Creative Director, collaborate with Creative Studio Teammates, Styling, Production, Post-Production, Marketing and Merchandising.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum of 10 years graphic design and art direction experience in branded content, agency, editorial or marketing environment.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

  • A passion for sport, the sports lifestyle, and the culture around it.

  • A stellar portfolio of creative work, exhibiting a seasoned background in digital and editorial design.

  • Deep knowledge and expertise in all aspects of photo and video art direction.

  • Detailed understanding of today’s creative landscape and how people engage with content from digital products to environments and experiences.

  • Ability to collaborate with and creatively manage external agency relationships.

  • Proven ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality.

  • Laser-sharp focus with ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.

  • Strong time management with ability to toggle between daily and long-term tasks, keeping workstreams moving forward simultaneously.

  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills; adept at presenting and defending creative work.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with highly developed ability to foster cross-functional teamwork and an open, positive and collaborative environment.

  • Highly developed curiosity and in-depth understanding of design culture, current and past.

  • Strong understanding of day-to-day ecommerce operations and production.
