Senior Manager, Inventory Flow Optimization, NA
The NIKE, Inc. Supply Chain team is the engine that propels product around the world. Supply Chain experts ensure that every year, 1.4 billion units of footwear, apparel, and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time. The complex process involves more than 70 distribution centers, a network of thousands of accounts, and more than 100,000 retail stores around the world. Supply Chain professionals constantly push for ways to make Nike’s supply chain faster, more efficient, flexible and more responsive to Nike’s always-changing consumer needs.
Within the North America (NA) Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC) team, the Integrated Flow Planning (IFP) team is responsible for operating our multi-node supply chain network with efficiency. Omnichannel Flow drives cost and service efficiencies by deploying inventory strategically, designing and implementing network readiness strategies, and orchestrating flow across all nodes and channels.

The North America Marketplace Supply Chain Senior Manager, Inventory Flow Optimization is responsible for driving strategic inventory deployment decisions, maximizing node intent, and aligning product deployment with network strategy. This strategic role includes managing operational performance, defining technical business requirements for inventory deployment tools, and leading cross-functional network initiatives. Success in this role requires strong process expertise, analytical acumen, people leadership, and a proven ability to deliver results within a complex, matrixed environment. This role is critical to delivering Nike’s promise of speed, service, and sustainability while optimizing profitability and enabling growth.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Lead North America omnichannel inventory deployment performance (STOs and diverts) and monitor resulting fulfillment performance across all nodes in the network.
Align capability roadmaps to network strategies to achieve cost and service objectives.
Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across key metrics, including Regional Demand Coverage, RSC SOB, and STO percentage.
Contribute to the monthly operational ship goals process by ensuring ship goals reflect accurate inventory positioning moves (STOs and diverts) and corresponding shipment plans.
Influence network inventory health initiatives through proactive adjustments to inventory deployment parameters.
Develop reporting solutions that enable KPI performance management and root-cause analysis for inventory deployment performance.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual reconciliation and improve Marketplace Supply Chain process efficiency.
Hire, develop, and lead team members to deliver service excellence; foster a high-performance culture and ensure process standardization and reporting alignment.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As a member of Nike’s North America Integrated Flow Planning team, you will work alongside experienced analytics and supply chain professionals passionate about driving operational efficiency and better serving athletes*. The Senior Manager reports into the Director of Omnichannel Flow, leads a team of four high-performing business analysts, and works closely with functions including channel teams across Marketplace Supply Chain, Supply Chain Operations, DC Operations and Planning, Transportation, Technology, and Finance. The Senior Manager collaborates with Finance and Marketplace teams to assess and communicate the business impact of inventory deployment and fulfillment decisions. In addition, the role works with technology product teams responsible for inventory deployment and fulfillment decision engines.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience with an emphasis on business reporting, capabilities, and analytics preferred.
Experience managing and coaching a team, with demonstrated interested in continuous learning and leadership development.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project streams and deliver results across cross-functional teams. Propensity for thinking through projects in a process-oriented manner.
Strong data acumen with the ability to leverage complex, disparate data sets to answer business questions and inform decisions.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, including experience with complex modeling, operational trade-offs, and financial considerations.
Experience operating in a highly cross-functional environment, with the ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong storytelling, problem-solving, and change management capabilities; self-directed and able to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
Experience with order management systems and order management architecture preferred.
