WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As our Senior Supply Chain Specialist for xxx you always start with the consumer in mind. You improve and evolve service, growth and profitability to meet the financial and operational targets as part of an integrated account team serving Nike’s best wholesale partners.

You have a deep understanding of business operations and are accountable for consumer/athlete*/customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and improving inventory efficiency. You make smart business decisions to help us to create the future of our marketplace supply chain. You keep your business partners informed and engaged of risks and opportunities, and you actively partner with MSC Seasonal Excellence, Sales, Merchandising, DSM, Marketing to find optimal supply chain and commercial solutions. You are a critical collaborator in complex workstreams and key projects evolving existing business capabilities using agile principles.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  •  You will be responsible for accurate and timely delivery of product and will be working in close alignment with our Seasonal Excellence planning and delivery team
  • Work in partnership with our key strategic partners to develop excellent working relationships. You’ll deliver customer service excellence through consumer mindset, proactive demaneor and reliability while at the same time ensuring our work supports and aligns with our Nike Marketplace Supply Chain and Nike Sales strategies.
  • Represent supply chain operations within the integrated accout team and the customer to ensure a balanced marketplace, mutual profitable growth and effective mechanics of inventory management. You have regular interaction with key internal and external partners within a matrix environment, sharing scenarios and solutions to risks/opportunities from a supply chain perspective.
  • You will demonstrate the ability to lead and influence cross functional peers in professional discussions and often complex decisions acting as the subject matter expert to inspire change, evolve and optimize demand fulfillment.
  • Focus on performance; deep understanding of supply chain performance metrics, performing data deep dives and analyses, driving concrete actions to improve performance. Making the right decisions to prioritize and drive process efficiencies/simplifications across team(s).
  • Drive speed-to-market improvements, reliability initiatives and focus on elevating the consumer experience

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work in a cross-functional agile environment that spans across EMEA and services the MPU’s operational business needs. Within the MPU, you will partner closely with Sales, Merchandising, Planning, Marketing and Finance. Outside of the MPU you will daily connect with Seasonal Excellence and our customers.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 4+ years of relevant, confirmed and proven experience within Supply Chain management and/or direct to consumer planning functions. Showcasing consistent improvement, increased responsibility and scope through that period with a consumer-centric and innovative approach 
  • Strong analytical skills which support an innovative result driven approach delivering and improving operational excellence
  • Proven stakeholder management experience developing excellent working relationships with key partners internally and externally and bringing the right teams together. 
  • Management experience, working with external stakeholders to deliver mutual profitable growth.
  • Experience leading medium to large sized cross-functional projects from start to finish to drive a best-in-class operational excellence. Through 
  • Self-starter/ability to work efficiently both independately and in groups
  • Strong communication skills, ability to clearly communicate and influence various levels within a matrix structure both internally and externally.
  • Flexibility/ability to work in ambiguous environment and able drive clarity to audiences not always familiar with subject matter
  • Digital literacy: MS office, advanced Excel, SAP, Cognos, and Tableau
