This role is part of the Nike’s Communication Platform team within Marketing Technology.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Software engineer, to be a part of Nike’s Marketing Technology organization. This position will play a critical role, in developing Nike’s multi-channel communication rendering and development.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong 3-5 years of experience on working on marketing Automation and reporting automation and should demonstrate below primary skills:

  • Design and develop user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • In-depth experience with at least one popular JavaScript framework especially React. 

  • Should have experience in Typescript with mastery in the microservices architecture.

  • Implement front-end components using popular JavaScript frameworks (React, Polymer, Vue) to create dynamic and interactive experiences. 

  • Optimize front-end performance for speed and efficiency across various devices. 

  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices.

  • Familiarity with Photoshop, Figma, or similar design tools to interpret visual designs.

You bring:

  • 3-5 years’ experience developing highly scalable applications, APIs, and services.

  • Familiarity with modern UI frameworks like React or Polymer.

  • Proven track record of building a microservice architecture.

  • Experience working with Product Managers, other development teams, and QA teams to accelerate software development and increase quality.

  • Be a self-starter with a passion for technology and a burning desire to constantly improve yourself, the product, and the codebase

  • Comfortable working within an exciting fast-paced environment by reducing ambiguity and building trust with the team.

  • Willingness to explore new technologies and creative solutions.

  • Strong at estimating work, planning, organization, and implementing complex software projects.

  • Experience using cloud services to build an integrated application (AWS - EC2, ECS, API gateway, Lambda).

  • Experience with implementing CI/CD and leading teams with DevOps responsibilities of deploying and supporting the software in production.

Other Skills:

  • Version control system (Git) 

  • Understanding of accessibility guidelines 

  • Experience with build tools (Webpack, Gulp) 

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will be responsible for driving, owning, and shipping all aspects of large, multi-functional efforts and feature areas. You will partner with engineering teams throughout feature development from architecture, design, implementation, and validation.

  • Innovating, architecting, designing, and implementing highly available, scalable systems, focusing on highly visible marketing initiatives.

  • Participating in the construction of new features and identifying areas for improvement proactively.

  • Provide technical leadership and best engineering practices to continuously deliver working software by independently delivering features with guidance from your Lead Developer.

  • You will use your in-depth experience in software development to write clean, tested, and well-documented code, as well as lead the peer code review process and partner with other engineers on the team.
