WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our team is looking for a North America Partner Marketing Specialist II who will support our DICK’S SPORTING GOODS (DSG) account & consumer. This entails helping to create & execute dynamic always-on and seasonal brand plans in service of both the partner account needs and Nike’s brand priorities. You will drive end-to-end accountability of assigned projects + workstreams alongside various functional partners from both marketing and business teams.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide input and support to the creation of seasonal brand plans for DSG.
  • Partner with NA and City brand marketing teams to integrate key account plans into the holistic Nike marketing journey in North America.
  • Keep the pulse on consumer, brand, competition, and industry trends. Leverage these insights to help inform strategic proposals and decision making.
  • Provide support to local teams for during on-the-ground activations.
  • Access and place orders via internal platforms (SAP, NOW, Nike.net, etc.) for all product needs (seeding, asset creation, event activation, etc.).
  • Manage, sort, and distribute all product orders, including organization and maintenance of product storage areas.
  • Work closely with inventory management and promo planning team to place seasonal product buys.
  • Understanding of the landscape of our broader partner account network, tiering of accounts, and where + how + level of support based on priority.
  • Develop personal and team expertise in supporting Nike tools & project management platforms (Air Table, BOX, Slack, Keynote, Coupa, etc.).
  • Drive initiative recap and teardown process, tracking cumulative results and collaborating to identify insights to inform future work.
  • Help DSG Lead to manage annual + seasonal budget as needed.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

As part of the Partner Marketing Team in North America, you will work be an instrumental member of the DSG team. Internally, you will be working and collaborating with a multitude of cross-functional partners including (but not limited to) brand marketing, city marketing, merchandising, and sales teams. Externally, you will be working closely with DSG’s marketing team as well agency partners to help bring plans to life.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years of experience in brand marketing, retail marketing, field marketing, or related field.
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing of related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Strong understanding retail channels.
  • Can translate observation to insight; insight to opportunity + strategy; and strategy to plan + execution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners both externally and internally.
  • Excellence in project management and executions with the ability to lead/support multiple workstreams & tasks.
  • Experience with public speaking and presenting work to larger groups and diverse
  • audiences.
  • Deep curiosity and desire to grow.
  • Pro-active problem solver, ability to assess an issue and develop action steps for resolution
  • Can-do demeanor with shown ability of adapting to change in business needs or direction.
  • A passion for the Athlete*, Sport* and Culture along with a sense of humor and humility — ensuring team success, while having fun.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
