The Energy Brand team is the engine for provocation within Nike Inc. We’re tasked with denting culture and pushing boundaries beyond what’s known or expected across all sports. We’re storytellers, strategic thinkers, and brand builders. To land the best work for Nike and our consumer, the Energy Brand Planning and Operations team is the foundation to Brand’s success. We establish the infrastructure, tools, and systems that enable the brand and business functions to operate smoothly and with precision from strategic seasonal kickoffs, through code gates, to the consumer launch. We’re solutions-oriented and dedicated to operational excellence.  

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON 
You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end product collaboration process through the lens of the brand team and collaborators. Working closely with brand product, and business teams, you will and ensure all key seasonal dates and gates are being hit across the collaboration portfolio. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the Nike relationship holder to external partners and stay in constant communication with them on all matters related to product development, merchandise and marketplace plans. You will standardize critical processes, tools and document best practices that enable our partner relationships to operate seamlessly from kick-off to launch. 

Responsibilities include:  

Drive Collab Product Creation and Cross-Functional Alignment 

  • Drive end-to-end alignment with cross-functional partners across product development to manage seasonal milestones from concept through go-to market, ensuring teams pace toward critical deadlines across functions.  

  • Develop and standardize ways of working across the portfolio of partners, relationship holders and brand marketing team. 

  • Partner with product and biz integration teams to ensure feasible workback schedules are in place for all partner projects and are tracked. 

  • Support Relationship Managers with the information, context, and alignment needed to manage partner relationships.   

Drive Critical Workstreams through Tools, Trackers & Systems 

  • Lead Tracking Meetings and standardize communication between cross functional teams to ensure dialog around projects in flight, outstanding decisions and risk mitigation 

  • Forecast and Product Ordering: drive deadlines and tracking, create tools and systems that make the process scalable and less manual 

  • Launch Readiness: Partner with Brand, Biz Integration and Sales to maintain and streamline the calendar, drive planning and tracking 

  • Key Product Tools: ensure Product Roadmap, Product Journeys, Process Maps Portfolio playbooks, etc. are accurate, visible and leveraged to drive effectiveness and efficiency 

  • Lead Partner calendar management with Brand and Design  

  • Ensure core marketing integration and processes: PDP handoff to marketing, Promo Product, seeding process, contractual alignment 

Ad hoc projects in support of the broader team 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH  
This role will report directly into the Director of Global Energy Brand Planning & Operations and will be a key member of the of Collaboration Operations team. On a day-to-day basis, your core partner will be the Energy Partnerships team in brand, and your key cross-functional partners will be Business Integration, Product Management in footwear and apparel, Sales, Merchandising, Icon Studio, NDDC and Shared Services.

You can manage a wide variety of processes spanning several teams and workstreams  

  • Collaborative Teammate – You’re skilled at building relationships cross-functionally and driving accountability in a matrixed environment. You have outstanding communication skills, thrive under pressure, and ask hard questions in real time.  

  • Tool Creation and Development Owner – you have experience improving existing tools and creating new ones and exploring solutions in AI. You know how to communicate system requirements to tech experts and understand interdependencies.  

  • Creative Problem Solver - You take the time to understand the root cause of issues and identify best solutions to the problem. You know when and where to be flexible, you’re naturally curious and have an entrepreneurial spirit. You recoil when you hear “but that’s how it’s always been done.”  

WHAT YOU BRING  

  • At least 6 years in product management, brand planning, operations, or similar strategic roles, preferably in a global, matrixed organization 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training 

  • Direct or adjacent product development and process management experience required  

  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the abilities to be a strong team player and collaborator 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator and strategic thinker that can simplify complex information  

  • Proven ability to help build and maintain operational systems, tools, and processes 

  • Forward-thinking, solutions-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset 

  • Passion for sport, culture, and the Nike brand 

  • Travel approximately 5% of the time  


Position Location & Schedule 
This position is based at our incredibly beautiful worldwide campus headquarters location in Beaverton, Oregon. You'll work a "4/1 hybrid" schedule - Mondays - Thursdays are in the office and it's optional if you'd like to work Fridays from the Nike campus office or your home office.
