This role is a part of the Global Energy Product Management Team, which is responsible for driving the product creation & development strategy for an essential part of the Nike Energy Apparel product line. Responsibilities of our team include obsessing the needs of the consumer, gathering and translating insights into actionable product briefs, and collaborating with various partners to drive the product development process.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Energy Product Management team fuels the strategy behind one of Nike’s most culture‑defining apparel lines. They translate insight into action and partner across Design, Development, Merchandising, Brand, and key Co‑Creation partners to bring bold product stories to life. This role reports into Product Management and works closely across cross‑functional triads to deliver seasonal excellence. You will report into the Senior Director, Energy Ignite & Sport – Apparel.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is looking for a Lead Product Line Manager who moves with vision and clarity —someone who blends deep apparel expertise with a sharp eye for culture, style, and sport. This person thrives in fast‑moving environments and knows how to turn insight into product that resonates. They bring strong communication skills, an instinct for collaboration, and the ability to manage complex calendars without losing sight of what matters: the athlete and the consumer. They pair creativity with analytical rigor, using both intuition and data to shape line plans that push Energy Apparel forward. Above all, they lead with influence, inspire teams, and elevate every stage of the creation process.
What You Bring:
- 4–6 years of experience in a product‑related role.
- 1-2 years of Sport Promo experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Merchandising, Business Administration or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- Expertise in apparel product construction, sourcing, and product creation processes.
- Proficiency with visual tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, Miro), Excel, Retail Math, and AirTable.
- Ability to lead, influence, and build strong cross‑functional partnerships.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll bring Energy Apparel to life by turning insights into compelling seasonal product. You’ll partner closely with Design, Development, Brand, Merchandising, and Co‑Creation teams to build world‑class consumer experiences—across physical and digital spaces. You’ll drive clarity across timelines, briefs, reviews, and sample milestones to keep the season moving forward.
Your Responsibilities:
- Partner with Design, Development, Brand, and Merchandising to build seasonal Energy Apparel collections.
- Collaborate with Co‑Creation partners across Nike Branded, License and Promo Sport to shape and deliver seasonal projects.
- Lead cross‑functional communication, ensuring internal and external partners stay aligned and informed.
- Manage the end‑to‑end creation process—from product briefs to design reviews, partner reviews, approvals, and sample order management.
- Work weekly with triad teammates to deliver against product creation timelines and key seasonal checkpoints.
- Identify marketplace opportunities and integrate consumer, cultural, and trend insights into product strategy.
- Ensure all product decisions elevate the Energy vision and deliver a premium consumer experience.
