As the Nike Lead, Global Real Estate Operations, you’ll be part of a high-performing team that is driving Nike’s journey as a best-in-class retailer within the Nike Stores organization. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As our Nike Lead, Global Real Estate Operations, you will provide cross-functional support for management of Nike’s retail store portfolio. This role will support the Nike Stores Real Estate Operations team with a strategic emphasis on its Real Estate Committee and Governance functions. In this capacity, you will:
- Review and evaluate Global Real Estate Committee submissions. Assess business cases and financial models for Stores investments to provide insights and risk ratings for leadership consumption.
- Support the development of enhanced guardrails, KPIs, and reporting for Global Real Estate Committee in partnership with Finance and Geo teams
- Prepare quarterly and annual store performance reports, including fleet review executive summaries and investment performance check-ins
- Create and automate reporting based on stakeholder requirements to inform and influence business decisions. Maintain database of Stores investments, ensuring that data is accurate and current.
- Maintain and update real estate operations playbook. Document and communicate process changes to business and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Understand and apply Nike internal governance requirements across Nike’s retail real estate portfolio
- Support delivery of fleet and new store pipeline reviews in partnership with Geo teams
- Build trusting and meaningful relationships with internal partners. Provide clear and constructive feedback to drive real estate process excellence.
- Utilize effective oral and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Reporting to the Director, Stores Real Estate Strategy, this is a critical role within Nike’s Global Stores organization. Based out of Nike World Headquarters, you will serve and support Global and Geography counterparts in multiple functions, including Real Estate Operations, Store Build, Lease Administration, Lease Services, Store Concepts, Finance, Legal, and Controlling.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 years experience in retail real estate operations, finance, consulting, or equivalent
- Experience with complex data and financial models required
- Familiarity with retail rent structures and lease clauses preferred
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Experience working within a global, matrixed organization preferred
- Ability to handle a wide range of responsibilities and prioritize accordingly
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications required including advanced level PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with dashboarding tools such a Tableau, Cognos, or PowerBI preferred
