Lead Technical Developer - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Work on complex styles to create and update technical design packages, containing construction details, measurement specifications, and images for the factory to refer to during development and production, for NIKE’s Product Creation Center (PCC) and factory partners including measurements, construction sketches and graphic placements; conduct prototype review sessions and write comments using Digital 3D to initiate the style; track and request prototypes for their styles, manage and meet their calendar target dates, attend meetings that relate to their product’s development and communicate progress and challenges to your team as needed; work alongside other technical apparel counterparts and with various product Integrity teams; act as a technical resource and able to mentor other developers as well as keep ahead of market trends and new technologies; attend meetings with Product Line Manager, Designer, and Material Team to review the design and identify potential risks before development; review samples and ensure they are executed correctly while also making any necessary specification changes; lead and facilitate fit sessions with cross-functional teams; identify critical issues and suggest changes; compile detailed notes, including photos or sketches, of the fit issues and suggested changes and share this documentation with the team for future reference. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Fashion and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a product-related occupation.  

 

Experience must include: 

 

Apparel Fit & Patterning tools including Optitex 

Apparel Embellishment Techniques and Applications for problem solving on garments 

Apparel Tech Pack building software including PCX 

Apparel 3D modeling software such as CLO 

Apparel Garment Construction 

Apparel Product Development tools and process such as PPS 

Management of on-site technical development trips to factory partners 

Modification and Authorship of Technical Apparel sketches, illustrations and drawings to communicate using Adobe Illustrator 

 

OR Employer will accept No Degree and seven (7) years of progressive experience in the job offered or in a product-related occupation.

03 Entrevista
