WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will report directly to the Retail Marketing Director; You will collaborate with equally passionate teammates spanning Visual Merchandising, Planning, Retail Marketing, Partner Directors, Retail Operation, Merch, Business and EKIN Team. You will work with stakeholders across Latin America territories and Geo teammates.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Lead, influence, drive, coach, and inspire our LaTam territory teams

  • Manage our portfolio of Partner, mono-brand stores in Latam, and ensure that Strategy is executed throughout the Fleet, while developing territory-specific strategy and targets that ensure premium consumer experiences and joint profitability

  • Develop plans and drive the efforts to elevate Nike stores, aligned with territory and geography strategic priorities. Own the Fleet Review Process and create action plans to accelerate the strategy.

  • Drive the service offense within our stores in partnership with store, training, merch, business, retail brand and VMS.

  • Manage the day-to-day business, analyzing the wins and opportunities and enabling quick decisions and solutions to help territory teams execute in a premium level.

  • Partner across functions to provide solutions to support the company strategy.

  • Lead seasonal readiness for the territories across multiple efforts: retail brand service, training, and product.

  • Work crossfunctionaly with Geo-Mexico and CaSa stakeholders to ensure the correct adoption of initiatives and style to align with global brand launches and win in the marketplace. 

  • Be the voice of the territories at key moments to elevate risk, oportunitues and daily work. Extend their work.

  • Enable, guide & support them in executions, openings, services thru brand standards. Ensuring each territory reality is considered.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • We are in search of a leader with a sharp business acumen, an eye for detail and who loves coaching others. We need someone who has inspiring energy, with a passion for people, consumers, stores, sport, and transforming the marketplace adapting to each territory needs. We are looking for an individual with a keen understanding to spot growth opportunities in Retail, demonstrating agility to learn amidst a complex retail environment in Latin America key cities. Note this position is based in Mexico City.

  • Focusing on the Partner/Omnichannel, experience with in-store/on-line communication planning and seasonal execution of experiences are critical to this role.

  • Education: Masters or Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience: 10+ years’ experience in retail sector and store.

  • Retail Acumen: Understanding of the retail business model, including an understanding of today’s shifting retail landscape.

  • Relationship Management Skills: Proven ability to develop and maintain high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers.

  • High-Profile Communication and Influencing Skills: Demonstrated adeptness with high-profile communication. Skills include excellent verbal and written communication of complex and/or controversial topics and concepts; meeting facilitation; effective communication on status, issues, risks and opportunities with senior leadership teams – both internal and external, and a proven ability to influence key business decisions.

  • Team Management Skills: Proven experience managing complex projects and initiatives,

  • Travel Expectations – This is a role that might be subject to travel to diverse countries in Latin America.

  • English required
