WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role will report into the MPU (Market Place Unit) Director based in Tokyo, Japan and collaborates closely with the partner account cross-functional teammates in Merchandising, DSM (Demand and Supply Management), Marketing, MPO (Market Place Operation) and Partnership Transformation team to ensure smoothe business operations. Most importantly, the individual in this role is expected to build strong partnership with accounts to effectively execute the planned strategy and shape the future of the marketplace.

The ideal candidate is a passionate learner and proactive doer, driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit. They possess solid retail acumen and a deep understanding of Nike products and consumer trends, enabling them to help shape the future of the sport marketplace.
- Minimum 5-6 years of field sales management in the sports or fashion industry that includes field sales, retail buying, merchandising, sales business planning, or sales business analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education is required.
- Strong interest in sport, youth culture, and street fashion.
- Experience in successfully implementing various sales programs, policies, procedures, and methodologies and in utilizing financial decision making, models and translating results into business plans and accurate revenue forecasts.
- Strong oral and written communication skills (both in English and Japanese), with ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives. Able to influence both cross functionally and vertically within the organization.
- Ability to prepare, plan and deliver clear and persuasive presentations.
- Ability to think strategically and provides problem-solving solutions.
- Domestic travel is required to visit retail marketplace once per season.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a Senior Account Management Representative, you will create, lead, and coordinate the execution of seasonal business plans to grow sport, youth culture, and street fashion marketplace.
- Develop seasonal business plans and revenue targets.
- Co-create seasonal marketing plans to launch Nike products with accounts and cross functional teams.
- Track weekly sales data, gather marketplace trends and consumer insights, and report.
- Elevate the marketplace by working with accounts to redefine their business strategy and seeking new sales opportunities.
