A Sr Business Planner (BP) to join the NIKE DIRECT DIGITAL BUSINESS PLANNING team to
- Define and manage Nike Digital pre-season business plans in line with marketplace right capacity and the Channel strategy.
- Translate the conversation with the X-functional Sport Offense crews into a digestible Stok and Sales plan per Sports.
- Support the creation of highly appealing decks to showcase the seasonal stories during all the CODE gate meetings and presentation.
- Follow Nike Digital / ND (nike direct) strategy and GEO/CENTRAL BP direction
- Ensure consumer demand for our Nike product is met and a pull market is maintained
The candidate will need to be able to work collaboratively and influence internal and external partners through consumer led data-based recommendations, with strong analytical skills who can communicate effectively in a variety of setting
Driving planning strategy and develop robust seasonal demand forecasts and long-range plans for Nike Digital. If this is you, you’ll:
- Join BP conversation with central BP and other X-functional teams to drive consumer-right demand plans.
- Define and manage Nike Digital business plans in line with market place capacity and Nike Digital strategy
- Influence and align the budgeting, business planning & forecasting processes
- Support key seasonal brand & product stories through aligned planning
- Actively participate in the development and deployment of Nike Digital multi-year strategy.
- Advocate Nike Digital Strategy across all Sports – sharing plans with relevant stakeholders across Nike EMEA consumer code gates
- Monitor business performance and deliver results vs. targeted objectives to drive sales and inventory at the desired planning granularity
- Communicate results and variances to targeted expectations to key stakeholders
- Off-price – work within wider Planning organization to understand CloseOut supply, achieve inventory targets and align against financial targets
You will work closely with your BP counter parts to ensure plans and directions are aligned Long Term, pre-season and in-season. You will also work closely with the assortment planning teams to support and guide them to take the right decision keeping the consumer at the center of the strategy . Other key stakeholders are:

Planning: experience in business planning in (preferred digital) retail, ability to apply that knowledge independently in their work. Basic understanding of fin., Product and supply planning. Able to collaborate effectively with up- & downstream functions. Aware of emerging trends in planning.
Risk mgt: escalates risks or opportunities that are grounded in facts, presents options for resolution. Assess risk within business objectives
Analytics: leverages statistical forecasting, data science and new ways of thinking to develop plans and drive better decisions. Expands existing frameworks to do analysis in a logical structure. Deep expertise in excel or other data modeling application
Influence: designs compelling communications that articulate the story and insights with a clear summary of the main ideas. Listens actively & makes insightful contributions to multi year strategies as well as ongoing business decisions (strategic thinking)
