The Nike Flight team links Nike to the global marketplace efficiently. Nike Flight utilizes advanced tools in modern aviation, enabling the company to connect to the global marketplace quickly and link leaders, employees, and athletes to consumers in a direct and efficient manner.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a candidate with prior experience in General or Corporate Aviation with strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting. The ideal candidate should have stellar problem-solving and project management skill. Understanding Nike Flights Standard Operating Practices (SOP), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.

  • 3 years minimum practical experience as an active line service technician or equivalent experience on aircraft operated by Nike Flight operation preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification preferred, but not required. 
  • Formal maintenance training on Nike Flight Operation specific aircraft preferred.
  • Ability to use all maintenance shop tools, equipment and technologies including handling substances, hazardous materials and utilize protective equipment needed to safely perform associated duties.
  • Good working knowledge of aviation activities, flight operations and the needs and requirements for their support including the ability to learn and use all associated computer programs

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

The Line Service Technician is responsible for servicing and cleaning aircraft, marshalling, towing, and assisting in the maintenance and repair of company-owned aircraft and ground support equipment to ensure proper operation, safety, and security.

  • You will work within Nike Flight Operation to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer service.
  • You will ensure all work and inspections are complied with in accordance with approved technical data.
  • You will perform final acceptance of incoming materials quality in accordance with Nike Flight Storeroom  procedures.
  • You will clean and maintain aircraft in established standard in compliance with GAC and Nike Flight procedures and protocols.
  • You will assist in the performance of administrative tasks relating to aircraft maintenance.
  • You will assist in performing maintenance repairs and inspections in accordance with CFRs, OEM, Nike Flight standards and procedures.
  • You will assist with the operational support of aircraft, ground support equipment, facility operations and facility shop equipment.
  • You will assist with shipping, receiving and inventory of aircraft parts.
  • You will assist in maintaining the security of aircraft and hangar facility.
