WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer. This role reports to the Manager, Software Engineering within Global Procurement Technology at the India Technology Center (ITC), Bangalore.
The India Technology team supports global procurement and corporate functions, enabling NIKE to operate efficiently at scale across regions. In this role, you will be a senior member responsible for implementing , building, and scaling enterprise procurement and Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) solutions that support NIKE’s global indirect spend landscape.
Work closely with global technology teams, procurement stakeholders, and external vendors will be key to successful delivery and operational excellence.
You will collaborate closely with:
Procurement Product Managers, Analysts, and Business Partners
Core ERP teams (SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Oracle)
Engineers, Security, and Enterprise Architecture partners
External SaaS vendors and technology partners (e.g., Coupa, Ariba)
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a experienced and hands‑on professional with deep expertise in procurement platforms and enterprise integrations. You will bring strong technical experience in Source‑to‑Pay solutions, SaaS procurement platforms, ERP integrations, and audit‑ready enterprise systems.
You will implement solution design, vet the requiremtnts, mentor Junior team members, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver scalable procurement capabilities globally. We are open to candidates based in Bangalore, India.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with strong focus on procurement or enterprise platforms
Deep hands‑on experience with SaaS-based indirect procurement solutions such as Coupa, Ariba, or equivalent platforms
Strong integration experience with backend ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, or similar
Proven expertise in source‑to‑target data mapping, payload structures, transformations, and multiple integration patterns (API, event‑driven, batch/file, middleware-based)
Experience designing and supporting audit and controls requirements, including ITGC/SOX-style controls and evidence-ready documentation
Experience leading production support, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for mission‑critical enterprise systems
Proficiency with collaboration and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucid, or equivalent
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Comfort working in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented, global environment
Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset—curious, adaptable, and motivated by continuous improvement
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Responsibilities
Design , develop and implementation of enterprise‑grade Source‑to‑Pay and procurement technology solutions supporting NIKE’s global indirect procurement operations
Implement system integration interfaces , data contracts, mapping strategies, and error‑handling approaches across SaaS and ERP ecosystems
Identify and implement technical controls and support audit and compliance requirements, ensuring systems are audit‑ready with strong documentation and traceability
Support production stability for procurement systems and integrations, including coordination of troubleshooting across internal teams and external vendors
Support system upgrades and release activities, including analysis of new features, prioritisation with business partners, test planning, execution, and deployment
Translate business requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans, balancing out‑of‑the‑box capabilities with justified extensions
Identify functional or technical gaps in standard solutions and design scalable approaches to bridge those gaps
Mentor and coach Junior engineers through design reviews, technical guidance, and best‑practice adoption
Partner closely with procurement, ERP, security, and architecture teams to align solutions with enterprise standards and long‑term roadmap
