WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role sits within the Nike Partner Management Office (PMO) in Montebelluna team and partners closely with Product Creation (Innovation, Development, Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering), Costing, Manufacturing, Athletes Services, Footwear Product Testing functions and cross‑functional partners across PHK, Italy and Asia. The work will give you a unique opportunity to collaborate with teams across all the Product Creation engine and Athletes Service. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about footwear and football and excited to join our Montebelluna team with a strong commitment to serving athletes*. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, strong communicator, and collaborative teammate with a genuine interest in football and footwear product creation. In this role, you’ll build knowledge across footwear Product Creation and Athlete Service while bringing your own perspective to help serve athletes*. (*At Nike we say, if you have a body you are an athlete)

  • Proficiency in English (C1/C2 level), with excellent verbal and written communication skills; Italian as a plus

  • Strong collaboration skills with a team first mindset and comfortable working across Product Creation and cross functional teams

  • A strong passion for sport, especially football

  • An engineering-driven thinker with solid problem-solving skills

  • Curios, positive and driven attitude

  • Hands-on approach to prototyping, experimenting, and improving products through physical iteration

IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN INTERNSHIP, YOU MUST 

  • We encourage talented individuals with diverse backgrounds to apply. A background in Material Engineering, Biomechanic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related field is a plus

  • Be available for a 6‑month full‑time internship (with a possibility to extend to 12 months) and able to work on-site at our Montebelluna office (Italy) at least 4 days per week.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You’ll support product and process excellence across your assigned projects in a collaborative team environment. You’ll help turn project briefs and 2D design concepts into 3D samples that meet both athlete* needs and business goals. Throughout the product creation process, you’ll help keep projects on track against key milestones while supporting design intent, performance, cost, profitability, and sustainability targets. You’ll also work closely with our Athlete Service team to support process and operational excellence.
