WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will work closely with Nike Canada Merchandising, Planning, and Marketplace partners to support Nike Direct (primarily Digital) buying operations. You will also partner cross‑functionally with Business Integration, Digital Operations, NVS, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of buys for the Canadian marketplace.
This role will report to the Merchandising Operations Manager, Business Integration.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for a Buying Associate to support Nike Direct buying operations. In this role, you will be responsible for entering and maintaining seasonal and in‑season buys to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with buying and planning direction.
This role is execution‑focused, supporting buying teams through system entry, data preparation, data maintenance, and coordination for Nike and 3PP (where applicable), while operating within established processes and timelines.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Enter and maintain seasonal and in‑season buys for Nike Canada Direct in applicable systems
- Assist in preparing purchase files, ensuring all documents are complete and ready for MSC upload.
- Perform price maintenance activities where applicable
- Investigate, update, and maintain product, pricing, and buy data across systems
- Partner with Buyers, Planners, and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate and timely preparation of order files
- Respond to requests, track updates, and support resolution of routine issues within defined processes
- Participate in recurring meetings and provide status updates as needed
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Customer Service, Planning, Operations, or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in a data‑intensive, operations, or administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working in deadline‑driven environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while following established processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience maintaining data in systems or complex databases preferred

The annual base compensation for this position generally ranges from CAD $ 61,800 to 92,700 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
