WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking a highly creative and strategic Lead Brand Designer to join our multidisciplinary team in global sportswear and energy. This role demands a dynamic designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working alongside Art Directors, Senior Designers, Studio Managers, Producers, and Writers.
This posting is for multiple Lead Concept Designer positions across the Global Sportswear and Energy organization.
The ideal candidate is passionate about the intersection of sport and youth culture—from subcultures to pop culture—and deeply connected to the creative industry. You’ll be responsible for driving design excellence across multiple projects, ensuring all work remains authentic to athlete-entertainer narratives, product innovation, and key cultural or sport moments.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As Lead Brand Designer, you’ll help shape the visual direction of Sportswear and Energy campaigns, with a strong focus on seasonal product launches. You will:
- Collaborate with the Creative team to evolve and elevate the Sportswear and Energy visual identity.
- Lead design and execution for brand campaigns centered on athlete-entertainer storytelling and product innovation.
- Cultivate strong relationships with photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, designers, and writers.
- Stay ahead of trends across fashion, design, film, art, social media, and technology to ensure creative relevance.
- Oversee planning, execution, and timely delivery of high-quality creative projects.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and innovation across all design output.
- Present creative concepts with clarity and confidence, showcasing strong storytelling and public speaking skills.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll collaborate closely with Art and Creative Directors, studio teammates, Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Retail Marketing, Content Production, and City/Geo Studios.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design and art direction within branded content, short-form AV, agency, editorial, or marketing environments.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in graphic design or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
- Passion for athletes, sport, and culture—both pop and subculture.
- A stellar portfolio showcasing visual storytelling, digital/editorial design, and brand communication.
- Expertise across layout, typography, illustration, identity, digital, and experiential design.
- Proficiency in publishing across diverse formats and platforms.
- Deep understanding of today’s creative landscape and how audiences engage with content across digital products and experiences.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience managing creative agency relationships.
- Proven leadership as a manager and mentor, with a commitment to team growth and development.
- Ability to co-create production shoot plans for photography and video.
- Adaptability in fast-changing environments while upholding creative excellence.
- Sharp focus with the ability to move quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Strong time management skills to juggle short- and long-term tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills; confident presenting and defending creative work.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for fostering a collaborative, positive team culture.
- Deep curiosity and a well-rounded understanding of design history and culture.
- Genuine love for youth culture and storytelling.
- Strong knowledge of photography and a passion for cinema.
