WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Principal Solution Architect. This role is part of Enterprise Architecture & Platforms, Enterprise Architecture team will partner and engage with business and technology leaders cross all the business functions within the enterprise in planning, creating, maintaining, and executing a capability roadmap aligned to the overall company and solution strategies to ensure that the people, process, data insights/information, and technology needs are accurately captured and planned for short, medium, and long-term execution.
The candidate needs to have a strong experience and understanding of both Relational and Non- Relational databases, hands on experience on data ware housing platforms, ETL tools, attention to details, exposure to cloud platforms, strong verbal, and written communication skills, and be self- motivated and operates with a high sense of urgency and a high level of integrity. Preferable experience in Retail and e-commerce domain.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll be working with the Enterprise Architecture team and perform the following tasks:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data and AI solutions that meet those needs.
• Determine and Architect the data and Gen AI strategy.
• Ensure that all data and AI solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Standardize the process of data collection, storage, transformation, distribution, and usage.
• Ensures adherence to government regulations and guidelines for technological systems and safeguarding of data.
• Partner with Application, Data and Analytics Engineering leadership to establish a database architecture plan across multiple solution areas.
• Own and author conceptual data models and align and review logical data models, API definitions and analytical data products for consistency and completeness.
• Architect and design solutions for data quality, reliability, and data governance.
• Embrace and influence technology platform thinking and drive architecture principles of data security, scale, uptime, and reliability
• Contribute to and implement the data management for enterprise information.
• Demonstrate a strong bias for architecture principles balanced with tactical timelines, cost, and risks
• Contribute to architecture guiding principles, development standards, training and hiring
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
This role is part of the Enterprise Architecture team within Enterprise Architecture & Platforms.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Information Management
• 6+ years providing design leadership to technical, business & cross-functional teams
• 8+ years in hands-on experience in data analysis, modeling, data engineering, or analytics
• Strong understanding of data management technologies, including data warehousing, big data, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong understanding of Gen AI and machine learning technologies, including natural language processing, and predictive analytics.
• Strong Experience with Big Data and Data Lake systems.
• Strong Experience in building Enterprise Scale APIs.
• Strong understanding of integration technologies including APIs, data formats and messaging protocols.
• Strong experience in building end-to-end data view with focus on integration
• A solid understanding and experience with data APIs, data warehousing.
• Demonstrated track record of leading within complex organizations requiring strong influence management skills - ability to work cooperatively at all levels in matrix environment.
• Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills with ability to facilitate technology strategy, requirements, and architecture conversations with all stakeholders (management, business users, and technology resources)
• Exposure to retail and e-commerce domain will be an additional advantage.
