We are looking for an Senior Professional in Event Operations based in the Nike Paris Office, to drive and execute high impact virtual, hybrid and in-person Event Experiences!
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You will develop and lead the program that successfully supports the EMEA event strategy and consumer experience in Nike locations across the geography. You’re experienced across all disciplines of event operations for B-to-B and B-to-C Events and have a proven track record in driving event innovation based on strategy.
As the Senior Professional Event Operations, you will contribute with strategic recommendations to the business, delivering best value for all aspects related to meeting and events. Challenge the status quo to contribute to innovation and best in class inspirational virtual, hybrid and in-person Event Experiences.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Create event briefings and production design based on business objectives envisioning the consumer journey
- Manage EMEA event experiences in collaboration with global- and geo teams and Nike’s strategic partner(s) for execution
- Drive and manage the EMEA event program (outsourced) resource planning across the EMEA locations
- Optimise the event infrastructure by designing and strengthening operational, analytical, and financial processes
- Contribute to EMEA Event activations for employee athletes* across the GEO
- Design and lead the communication plans to ensure flawless implementation of the program innovations
- Guide strategic decisions based on impact, agility and efficiency
- Pro-active contribution shaping the future of events influencing EMEA direction with EMEA Locations requirements
- Manage department’s financial processes including forecasts and reporting
- Manage long-term internal- and external strategic partnerships
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Reporting to the Senior Manager, GPS Event Operations EMEA, as part of the GPS Events team you will implement the GPS event strategy in your location and across the geography. You work closely with the Lead GPS City Manager to bring the Paris event experience to life. You will collaborate with senior leaders and work closely with cross-functional partners to provide thought leadership, manage business relationships and execute on Nike only event concepts.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Fluency in business level English and French languages
- Hospitality and Agency Events experience preferred with a focus on large scale operations.
- Demonstrable experience in a high-profile operations role related to events
- Demonstrated experience leading strategic partners and supplier management, ideally at a Fortune 500 company
- Proven ability to operationalize business strategies
- Excellent understanding of the Global Event industry plus its trends and innovations
- Proven expertise in project- and transition management
- Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, driving and inspiring (extended) teams
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills (English & French)
- Ability to influence multiple business partners across all levels of the organisation
- Competence to articulate complex business concepts
- Ability to effectively manage time, and individually prioritize tasks of competing priorities
- Fluent in MS Office applications, familiarity with CVENT, Smartsheet & Keynote a plus.
