Nike Sr. Sales Representative – Online Wholesale Partners

PLEASE NOTE: This hybrid position is 4 days/week at our Downtown Toronto Head Office (Mondays to Thursdays) and Fridays (remote office) and is an individual contributor.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our team seeks a Sales Representative who will take ownership of and manage wholesale ecommerce partners for Nike. We want a proactive, strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to use industry, consumer, and account data—along with insights and analytics—to inform decisions. The ideal candidate should thoroughly understand product trends, the marketplace, retail finance, planning, and site merchandising.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Develop partner-specific assortments that align with Nike’s sport offense strategy by collaborating closely with Planning, US Sales Reps, and Merchandising teams to ensure online assortments support the Merchandise Financial Plan and Allocation Plan.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to implement the Go-To-Market process, manage seasonal assortments and sales forecasts, and uphold strong relationships with external partners.
  • Present seasonal merchandising and product priorities during partner meetings, delivering customized assortments and comprehensive supporting materials such as samples and imagery.
  • Oversee daily business operations while proactively planning and forecasting for future seasons, managing quarterly and annual objectives to guarantee the achievement of all seasonal targets and deadlines.
  • Utilize market insights related to product trends, pricing, and competitor activities to optimize product placement and maximize sell-through performance.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by cultivating and maintaining productive relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within customer organizations.
  • Site merchandising tasks including:
  • Review and report on a weekly/monthly/seasonally/etc. digital scorecard to assess the CX/UX experience
  • Product page read & react –determines quick-turn solutions to consumer friction 
  • Works collaboratively with Account team to build capability roadmaps and continuously evolve the digital consumer experience across Brand Store, PDP, etc. 
  • Collaborates with Partner/Digital Marketing & Brand Creative to align marketing strategy and seasonal storytelling, asset availability, connect copy, etc. within the digital consumer journey
  • Develop a process to collaborate with US counterparts to procure and deliver seasonal assets to site

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you will report into the Sr Manager, Key and General Partners. You will develop and maintain relationships with other cross functional partners such as US Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, and Finance. You will also collaborate with external partners to create strategies that optimize our brand and positioning on partner digital platforms.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training 
  • Experience working with large, national e‑commerce marketplaces operating under a wholesale model
  • Digital commerce, sales and site merchandising experience required
  • A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in Sales Operations, Buying, Retail Planning, Merchandising or Sales in an e-commerce marketplace
  • Proactive problem solver with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to assess and resolve problems quickly 
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at various levels with different and converging timelines
  • Understanding of sales and order management processes and strong retail and financial acumen
  • Data attribution experience and the ability to read and analyze digital retail and marketing metrics to optimize sales and inventory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • GEO/Territory/International travel as required (GTM, key accounts, industry meetings)

The annual base compensation for this position generally ranges from $85,400 - $135,400CAD/annually.  Actual compensation will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
