As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will report to the Marketplace and Innovation FP&A Director, collaborating with Finance Partners (Central Finance Planning and Strategic Finance) and Cross-Functional Business Partners (Innovation and Marketplace). Your role will be crucial in ensuring alignment and transparency across planning milestones. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Marketplace and Innovation FP&A team! You will be a vital member, assisting in month-end close processes, annual operating planning, and in-fiscal year investment management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of financial modeling. Your presentation skills and ability to influence decisions will set you apart.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
- 3+ years of experience managing operating budget, financial analysis, accounting and/or P&L management showing increasing progression of responsibilities
- Advanced Excel Proficiency and familiarity with tools like SAP, BI and Tableau
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across management levels and functional teams
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusting work relationships, work cross-functionally, and influence all levels of management
- Proactive, self-starter with a positive attitude, a strategic mindset, and a desire to drive operational results and iterative improvements
- Process and detail-oriented mindset with a strategic approach, a passion for continuous learning and the ability to manage multiple priorities professionally
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing OOH (Operating and Overhead expenses) investments for Marketplace and Innovation, with a focus on driving productivity. You will lead month-end close processes and reviews, providing financial counsel to business partners to prioritize investments within financial guardrails and optimize strategic plans. You will actively interpret and review financial results with leadership, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities to drive meaningful responses. This role requires the ability to dive deep into numbers while partnering effectively with senior business leaders and influencing decisions. You will create deliverables leveraged by Senior Leadership, elevating key stories and drivers of change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in financial planning (AOP/budget, Monthly close/forecasting) for OOH
- Optimize, monitor, and report monthly performance against budgets and forecasts
- Execute monthly reporting and forecasting analysis, presenting risks and opportunities along with actionable items to senior leadership
- Actively interpret and review financial results with leadership, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities to drive meaningful responses and deliver performance management targets
- Proactively identify and execute analysis that aids in the decision-making process
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
