Our Global Safety and Security Team is on the offense always, providing support and services to Nike team members, guests, partners, and Facilities to ensure Nike workspaces are safe and secure environments in which to work and build the future of sport!
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role will serve as a teammate on our Nike Global Safety and Security’s team for the protection of Nike Global executives. The candidate will build and maintain lasting internal and external business relationships to influence the future of executive security.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will support the implementation of multiple key security-related programs and initiatives, ensuring all efforts are aligned and supporting strategic enterprise objectives! You will develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Nike Global Security field teams, Nike executives, managers, employees, local and federal law enforcement agencies, and security/safety suppliers. As a member of the team that is the primary focal point for emergency issues involving Nike executives, it is required to remain on-call 24 x 7 and available to provide executive protection as necessary.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Nike’s executives and their administrative staff, Safety and Security partners, flight teams, and meeting/event teams to ensure effective executive protection throughout the enterprise.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security & Emergency Management or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
Minimum 3 years of security, protection, law enforcement or related field.
Proven track record of continuous professional development
First Aid/CPR certified, or the ability to be certified.
Oregon DPSST Security License, or eligible to be certified.
Experience managing access control in a corporate setting.
Experience with supporting large scale events (sporting events, conferences, business travel)
Experience working with Protective Intelligence and Threat Management teams. Experience conducting risk and residential security assessments.
Physical Readiness
As a function of the role, must be able to maintain physical readiness to respond to security incidents or hazard at all times
Maintain the ability to stand for several hours in support of protective coverage
Working knowledge of physical security systems from an end user’s perspective (cameras, sensors, badge access, etc.).
Demonstrated track record of practicing confidentiality and discretion within a professional setting.
Experience dealing with diverse populations and communities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a consistent track record of generating trust and forming alliances with stakeholders.
Ability to be flexible and travel both domestically and internationally with limited notice.
Able to physically evacuate an adult person in an emergency.
Able to move quickly up multiple flights of stairs and perform a medical assessment and display fine motor skills.
Able to walk or stand on your feet for 8+ hours daily, for consecutive days.
