WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will work closely with Nike’s external service provider to ensure effective and efficient performance of supplier information management processes. You will also partner with internal stakeholders in Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Technology (whose processes rely heavily on high-quality supplier information) to minimize process exceptions and resolve complex issues. You will collaborate with colleagues in Europe and Asia to identify opportunities and implement continuous process improvements. You will be supported by the Global Manager, Procurement Operations.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a detail-oriented, service-minded, and proactive procurement operations professional to join our supplier information management team. The ideal candidate have a strong interest in procurement processes and data management, with a commitment to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of supplier information and smooth and efficient supplier onboarding.
You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
3 – 5 years of experience in procurement, finance, technology, or equivalent
Proficiency in procurement software and data management tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will be responsible for helping oversee and improve Nike’s processes for managing supplier master data / information and onboarding new suppliers. Your work will include:
Supplier Information Management and Supplier Onboarding:
Monitor service provider performance to maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier master data in the procurement system, inclusive of collecting required documentation.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across all supplier records in all systems.
Oversee the end-to-end supplier onboarding process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Provide training and support to employees, suppliers, and service provider on onboarding requirements, processes, and tools.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and validate supplier information.
Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify data discrepancies and their root causes.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for in-scope processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate and analyze reports on supplier data and onboarding metrics.
Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of supplier management processes.
