The Visual Merchandising (VM) function develops and delivers inspiring, premium consumer experiences and product presentations for the Nike brand. The team partners across Brand and business functions to shape product journeys, presentation strategies, seasonal direction, and tools that set the standard for retail. VM also works closely with business, operations, and design to scale new concepts and expand retail experiences across the marketplace.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As Lead, Global Running VM, you will develop and deliver presentation strategies, standards, and tools used by Geography teams to execute in Nike retail locations globally. You will partner across Consumer, Merchandising, Marketing, and Marketplace teams to align priorities and enable consistent, premium execution.
You will:
- Lead Global VM presentation direction and tools for Running
- Drive pre-season zoning, mapping, and presentation strategy development
- Deliver inputs and tools that shape a retail-first vision
- Support physical builds that align cross-functional teams
- Partner with Retail Brand to develop seasonal plans
- Collaborate with Merchandising on assortments and key looks
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role partners with cross-functional teams across Global and Geography organizations, including Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Design, and Operations. The role reports to a Global VM Director and works closely with Geography teams to deliver functional direction and insights on marketplace and competitive trends. Strong relationships enable high-quality work and consistent execution.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training
- Portfolio of relevant work required. Please upload with your resume and application.
- Strong visual merchandising experience with a minimum of 4 years developing retail strategies; experience leading direction for large-scale retail environments preferred
- Passion for visual merchandising and deep understanding of running—its sport, culture, and influence on style and storytelling
- Collaborative mindset and creative problem-solving skills
- Adaptability and ability to navigate evolving business needs
- Comfort building structure and working in ambiguity
- Knowledge of the retail landscape, including current trends and innovations
- Experience influencing cross-functional partners and driving change at scale
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with effective influencing and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote; Mac skills preferred
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 4 times per year
