WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH


Reporting directly to the Inbound manager, you will work with the Logistics team as Inbound and Warehousing and Supply Chain teams like Integrated Fulfilment Planning, within the immediate team. You will be working cross-functionally, both internal & external, with our Logistics & Transportation partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for our Inbound Transportation Analyst to join our Inbound team at DC (Estado de Mexico). This role will be in charge to coordinate the last mile from Mexican customs to final destination, ensuring the alignment between Execution, Demand and Receipt capacity. Our IB TA shall be organized, prioritize tasks, proactive and good team player.

- Bachelor’s degree at International Business, Logistics, or related field,

- 1-3 years’ experience in Logistics,

- Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks,

- You’re comfortable with Microsoft Office and SAP system,

- Experience managing relationships with carriers or vendors,

- Previous Nike work experience is a definitive plus.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This role will enable optimal communication, planning and performance, which ensure the best execution in the Receipt Plan according to Demand Forecast, to ensure the right timing attending business’ needs, coordinating cross-functional teams as carriers, customs broker and DC.   

  • Monitor containers arrival to Mexican port and build the plan to deliver the containers to final destination. Securing capacity with all the involved parties as carriers, escort company, inbound DC team, etc.
  • Maintenance of System data to provide proper visibility to cross functional teams as IFP and MPO areas.
  • Monitor container dispatch execution till its delivery to final destination.
  • Ensure stakeholders are aware and comply Security SOP.
  • Monitor performance indicators and achievements.
  • Proactively identify Inland transportation cost savings opportunities
  • Proactively communicate opportunities to minimize constraints by improving issues and tracking.
  • This role will support the on-time delivery and lead time metrics through data analysis and impact assessment.
